While testing the limits of the skid I made it drive into the deep concave part by FF's waterfall base (the one by the waterfall, not the one next to the Power Station). The game didn't like it. The wheels started flying above the vehicle and the vehicle itself started to GET DOWN and flipped upside down into the ground, then disappeared. The vehicle was still there, so I clicked it and told it to move. It only appeared when moving, then went invisible. The wheels never came back, and trying to go into 1st or 2nd person crashed the game. Lesson learned; when nulls go out of bounds they cause bad things.

So... You drove on a steep decline and the wheels asploded? Can you make a video and just set to unlisted on YouTube to see what you mean? You also might want to try it with normal vehicles and see what happens to them.

Intresting though... I'm going to assume this is also involved with one or more of the LWS files, like the idle animation.

Another idea. Perhaps model a set of backup wheels directly onto the chasis model so at least li looks like the wheels are still there. Make them a bit smaller so you can't see them normally.

I would record this but Fraps isn't letting the game run at all. Why? No clue. My computer just likes to change how programs work every once in a while. If I can fix it or get a recorder that actually works then you'll get your video. Don't suggest ones, I already know all of them. DISREGARD THIS, I EAT ENERGY CRYSTALS

Heh, this happens to me but with raiders. If the raider is struck by a caffeine raider while he is walking down a slope in shoulder view.

NoNERPs. With debug keys enabled, press F12. You can see the words in the top left corner when it's active.

Maybe is has something to do with the colradius...

Yeah like the side of the vehicle is hitting the tile? Try commenting it out Cire. (unless you already have...)

The Tunnel Transport doesn't seem to have this problem, neither does the Small Transport Truck despite its wheels going above the driver's head. It's only the skid that does this. Though I did make the colradius and height smaller than the Loader Dozer's, it may be that the collision mesh is ending up somewhere outside of the map since the vehicle is so low. That explains how the Tunnel Transport is unaffected, but the Howitzer is also unaffected and that vehicle is even lower to the ground as well as being much wider. I think it's just something with the way the tyre nulls are placed. They're pretty close together, and the vehicle is scaled up 1.5x, so without scaling they're about as close together as the Hover Scout's wheels.

A few other things.

1. I was half expecting the skid to scoop up some rubble and fling it behind it. 'twould be funnier.

1) So then you can barely make out that it's a temporary animation to prove that I could fix the floating raider problem.

2) Vengence. It's a keygen song. I'm not worrying about the full details right now.
