Nah there were seriously just millions of useless accounts on the forum at one point due to a misconfiguration/bug/something I don't remember exactly. Normal members couldn't ever see them and Cyrem deleted them anyway, but "fixing" it completely (getting rid of the gaps in numbers) would involve re-calculating the whole forum database or something else that'd be a hassle and not really worth it, from what I heard.
