Not inspired by Tron at all

So, my suggestions are... (long list)

• Dirt, Loose Rock and Hard Rock become Forwarded Port, Insecure Network and Protected Network respectively.
  
• Rock, Ice and Lava Monsters become Antivirus, Registry Cleaner and Linux (lava monsters should only take 2 damage from every weapon).
  
• Laser. pusher and freezer beams become Ping Flood, DoS (Denial of Service) , and DDoS (Distributed DoS).
  
• The vehicles become an assortment of trojans, viri and other malware.
  
• Electric Fence becomes Proxy
  
• Ore and ECs become bits and bytes (I'm not quite sure if it should be bytes... Maybe amp/watt/volt.)
  
• Rubble, Ground, Power Path = Dial-up connection, broadband, zombie net
  
• No landslides?

How about a data crash?

no, because crashing is one of the things the data raiders are trying to accomplish :P

...as a side effect of firewall haxoring...?
