Really TT? Entry posted by Fush · October 6, 2013 1,423 views Share
 Followers 0 So I'm just playing LCU when... Oh? What is this I see? C'MON TT YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS. THAT TEXTURE DOES NOT GO THERE. And the lights... why use the hinge blocks if they are attached to THE WALL? I AM DISAPPOINTED IN YOU TT. Jimbob 1
Fluffy Cupcake 2,237 Posted October 6, 2013 I don't quite get the first thing (not familiar with that brick/texture), but for the second, perhaps they are using those types of bricks so the lights aren't just one directional? Link to comment
BobaFett2 194 Posted October 6, 2013 I think the hinges are being used for texture (not graphic art, but to make it more interesting), to make it more interesting than a block coming out of the wall. The texture does look misapplied, but maybe it was intentional? I wish I owned a Wii U. Link to comment
Cirevam 1,615 Posted October 6, 2013 I noticed the hinges before the texture. But the big monitor isn't built out of bricks, so you could arguably say that that is worse. Oh well... after so many games using the same exact gameplay mechanics as Lego Star Wars, I can't expect much from TT. Link to comment

LUModder 53 Posted October 7, 2013 Am I the only one who gets that texture must go on a 1x2 flat tile? Link to comment

Still, they could have placed it inside the wall so the hinge isn't visible (they did that with another model even earlier in the same level). This model is a control panel that has to be interacted with to activate the large generator thing you see in the first pic, so they needed a texture for controls, I suppose, but they could have A) used one of the several sloped bricks with controls on them or B) constructed the model in such a way to use the 1x2 flat bricks.Instead they applied the 1x2 control texture to a 2x3 sloped brick.
