Hi, welcome! First blog, and I'm talking about -you guessed it- Source Filmmaker!

For those who don't know what Source Filmmaker is, it's a piece of software to make some animations with Valve's Source Engine. It comes bundled with a non updated version of Team Fortress 2 for recording the game and make it as an animation. Usually there's more stuff about TF2 made with this software, since as I wrote, it comes bundled with it. There are various content packs, like Portal, Left 4 Dead, ETC!

Now who introduced it to me: Ben24x7, he is a great SFMer and he usually makes me some posters, like Frankenturrets, Cores. His profile picture is a type of 'Disk Operator 2000' I think. It looks amazing. Anyway I saw he was fiddling around with SFM and I thought I should try too making something. I ended up installing it with the Portal Content Pack and I made a couple of posters, and a small animation, that is in my new Youtube Channel PlasticPortalGun, and I made 'Minecraft in a nutshell',

it isn't smooth, but it was easy as I record with in-game animation, not my own.

Anyway this is the end of this blog post, and stay tuned for more as next time I'll talk about LEGOS and who also introduced me to RRU.

Well, there you go. Of course you only scratched the surface of what SFM is capable of. So there is a lot more to see and do in SFM.
