I propose the following items:

Laser Beam: Melts rock, metal, and lapis lazuli, makes just about everthing else explode either by super heating the water or in the case of dimond based materials, makes them explode by making them shatter, then burn like fire is going out of style. Anything with water in is going to explode including mobs all wood blocks leather moist farmland. Almost too destructive to be practical. Needs corrisponding lava blocks.

Pusher Beam: Pushes any block, mob, or item. Cannot push a block into the Void.

Freezer Beam: So cold it will turn any lava, still or moving into obsidian or obsidian based ore blocks that drop the number of ingots that were melted, freezes anything with water. Needs blocks.

Sonic Balster: So loud that it may blow out your speakers if you are not careful, scares away all mobiles. One time use.

Ultrasonic Beam: A sonic blaster with directional effects. Handheld.

Brickonium Ore: Crystal seam.

Tungsten Ore: The metal is for the Carbide Tipped Drill.

Carbide Tipped Drill: Cuts through Obsidian very quickly.
