Really, just because people don't act the way you want them to? Just because you aren't appreciated as much as other people? Just because there isn't anything new to do on the forum?

Take matters into your own hands.

If it's people who are the matter, then just freaking ignore them! There's a block option for a reason, which I only have ever used once (guess who -.-). Don't let people ruin your mood. If you don't get along with people, then just don't associate yourself with them. If people troll you, don't let your irritation show. If you do, you're letting them win. You're giving up. It's that simple!

If it's appreciation that is the problem, I can moderately understand that, but don't let that get to you. I've been largely unappreciated when I began my modeling. I wasn't very good, and there wasn't much encouragement. But I didn't give up. As I continued production of my models, I began gaining more appreciation. Sure, I don't have the entire forum looking at my models and telling me that it's amazing, to keep it up, that they are going to use it in-game. But the few people who do say things like that make all the difference. Just don't give up. If for nothing else, do it for the same of doing it. I love 3D modeling, and even if this forum were to tell me they were terrible, that would not change my love for 3D modeling. Do it for yourself.

If it's nothing new to do, then create stuff for yourself! Take the initiative! Make your own overhauls, instead of of waiting eons for Tr or RTPU or Baz's mod to come out. Create your own 3D models instead of waiting for me to make my own. Investigate possible modifications to the minifigures to get them to start with skills, instead of waiting for the select few who know a lot about it to get around to doing it. Do things for yourself.

Really, it makes me sick and tired of people giving up because of simple problems like these.

That is all I have to say.

Make your own overhauls, instead of of waiting eons for Tr or RTPU or Baz's mod to come out.

OBJECTION

You seem to be either under the impression that people make overhauls for themselves, or that if an overhaul is taking to long we should throw it away. I find it disturbing either way.

The first way, you're saying "If these overhauls are taking too long to make, why don't you make your own overhauls to play?" We don't make the overhauls for ourselves. I find RtPU boring when no one else does just because I made it and know how it works.

If it's just because you say we're too slow, well, sorry. These things take time. And "eons"? Seriously, anyone who could make an overhaul before TR or RtPU would probably just make a level pack, or at least a really small overhaul. And that's nooo good (unless it is). It seems you're just being impatient.

Also look at all those abandoned overhauls in the mod section. People have no effort.

I never meant any insults with that statement. I was referring to how people say it takes too long for such overhauls. I, myself, never was impatient for such overhauls. I know they takes large amounts of effort and time. My apologies.
