A Very Long Hiatus...

I never intended to be away, but things happen and I ended up moving on for a while.

My computer went down a long while ago (it's been fixed for a while now), and when I fixed it I had learned about a game called Garry's Mod. Yes, Garry's Mod. The glitchiest game in existence. Combine that with Team Fortress 2 (an awesome FPS/Military themed hat collecting sim, depending on your view) and Trackmania United Forever, I guess I just couldn't get back on for a while.

Disaster struck on July 1st, 2011. My Youtube account was hacked along with many others. Turns out the "Recorded Classic Games" guy was trying to hijack accounts to get them banned.

After a short 2 day spurt with Minecraft (didn't meet my expectations, and people tend to mug you when you have acquired tons of resources in a private mine, enough to buy 128 blocks of Netherak on legendary craft with much to spare), and after beating the s*** out of Kyrus in Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 2: Retribution (an awesome combat RTS by the way, although the final boss in campaign mode was laughable), I got back into Rock Raiders while watching a let's play of Baz's mod.

And here I am again, though with a bit more experience.

Actually, they weren't griefers, they were premium players on Legendary Craft (a really large server), and they would PvP you while having NoPvP active so they could steal your Diamond Tools and Weapons.

Thankfully the server had access control signs.

Recorded Classic Games? ???????

Someone was making fraudulent copyright claims with that as the copyright owner in order to get their accounts suspended/terminated. He knew some people would counterclaim against him so he'd hijack them before the counterclaim (which 90% of the time used fair use as a defense).

You have to give a lot of information to the claimant in order to make a counterclaim, and that information can be used to hijack your account by exploiting the Google account recovery system.
