Wheel?

For those who can't read:<br /><br />October 4, 3048<br /><br />Upon scanning the wheels, I found a unquie structure of bones, muscle, and ligaments [i have] not seen on any creature I have seen before. That is saying something as I have studied just about all of them. There are structures not unlike eyelids, appearently for covering the wheels to protect them.<br />Next page: The wheels themselves are made of a protein similar to keratin, and the "hubs" are attached to the limbs with ball joints. The are also what appears to be claws on the front two pairs.
