With some help from the file format information jamesster found on Xentax I have made a JAM extractor. For the amount of information it has to process, it's rather fast, but it will hang there for a bit as it processes all the files (so have patience). Without further ado, here it is: JAM Extractor Latest Downloads (RRU): Windows 32-bit Windows 64-bit Mac 64-bit Latest Downloads (Github): Windows 32-bit Windows 64-bit Mac 64-bit Other Links: All Downloads GitHub Repository Extract your download to find the main "JAMExtractor" executable (all files are required, do not separate them or it will not work). Usage You can run it by the command line or, on Windows, simply drag-and-drop the LEGO.JAM file onto the main executable and wait for it to finish creating a folder next to the original file. To recompile, simply drop a folder onto the main executable and it will create a JAM file. >If you have the 1999 version of the game, it is unnecessary to rebuild a JAM archive. It is possible to have the program also print the files being processed as the program runs if you add an "--verbose" to the arguments. >Still need a GUI? Check out this topic. Important Notes The LJAM file format does not allow file or folder names to contain more than 12 characters. As of version 1.0.2, the program will skip over file and folder whose names are longer than 12 characters. Thus, any files and folders you create within the JAM archive's folders that have names longer than 12 characters will automatically be excluded when creating a new JAM archive. Older versions would only use the first 12 characters of the name as the file name and would include them. Alternately, you can use the source code from the GitHub repository with a Python interpreter. As of version 1.0.2, JAM Extractor is compatible with Python 2.7 and newer, older versions are compatible with 3.0 and newer.1 point -

Blocks is a level editor for the Island Xtreme Stunts minigame level layouts. It features a full GUI, a complete character legend to let you know what every value means, and syntax checks to ensure everything is valid. You can see what file you are currently editing, and even makes a backup of the file before writing your new layout. Application icon created by rioforce. LMS - Lrr Modding System

UPDATE: Version 0.1.2 has been released. I'm an idiot and never noticed the code to add d3drm.dll was broken. I'm planing on making a unified modding system for LRR. It's going to be an all-purpose launcher, patcher/mod installer, wad manager, etc. It's going to be written in python, frozen with py2exe for usability. The source and download will be on github. Patchman scripts will be supported. CFG mods will be managed with diff and patch (if I can get it working). If people want, I will even make sure you can play custom music with it. I'll start it out as a launcher, then add modules to it as I go. Anyone who knows python is encouraged to help. Links and updates will be posted here. 1996 was the first year when I really started getting into LEGO. I have so many '96 product catalogs laying around along with the instructions for many of my first sets.That was probably the smartest thing my six-year-old brain ever did, since I've been able to reconstruct sets that I haven't had for years. I've been able to build older 90's sets thanks to my older brother giving me lots of old bricks and sites like Peeron with tons of scanned instruction booklets. After some digging I found enough bricks to make a few Ice Planet sets, which is probably my favorite pre-1996 theme. My favorites in 1996-1997 were the various Race sets. I have 6517 (jet ski), 6546 (#4 Formula 1 car), and I was able to reconstruct most of 6335 (Formula 1 car carrier truck). I also had 2129 (red Bungee Blaster), 6331 (blue stunt plane), 6553 (TV crew), 6581 and 6565 (various construction vehicles), 6625 (police car and motorcycle), 6407 (tiny fire truck), 6550 (outback race truck), 6556 and 6442 (some Divers sets), 2160 (small Aquaraiders sub), 6145 and 6125 (some Aquanauts vehicles), 2151 (small orange Roboforce walker), along with a bunch of U.F.O. and Exploriens sets. I never had any Time Twisters, Castle, Fright Knights or Pirate sets, but my older brother did. That's quite a lot. I never realized how much I had in that year alone. The last set I remember buying was some ambulance in... 2010, I think. I still have it but I converted it to a sort of A-Team van. I have Power Miners sets too but those were gifts. I don't have much of an interest in current LEGO sets and maybe it's because of what some of you are saying. There is something about the 90's sets that makes them cooler, more attractive, more valuable. Maybe some of it is nostalgia but it seems to apply to old sets that I haven't seen until recently. There are some boxes for 80's LEGO sets in my attic, or at least I think they're from the 80's. There's some space shuttle and the legendary monorail. The monorail is cool but the space shuttle looks rather lame. Sets earlier than that are even more bleh and I don't know why.1 point -

You may have noticed that I was messing around with the LEGO Racers demo files earlier. After some more tinkering and experimenting I came up with this: What do you think? Any improvements you think it needs? I did try to get rid of the buildings but the game crashed whenever I tried anything. They don't stand out as much with the background I put in anyway. If for some reason anyone wants to use this in a video or something, feel free. I can put a download link up somewhere if you don't like ripping from youtube.1 point -
Slimy Slug Hole Grinder

I was trying to think of a vehicle that would solve a problem you face in the game. And since the worst enemy in the game is the never-ending barrage of Slimy Slugs, I figured, why not build a vehicle that would solve this problem, once and for all! Basically, you'd drive the Slimy Slug Hole Grinder over a hole, lower the auger, and let it totally destroy the slimy slug hole, rendering it a pile of rubble, which you can then shovel clean if you wish. While designing this, I tried to keep with the Rock Raider color theme and design as much as I could. And best of all, you can actually raise and lower the auger with the rope/gear system on top.
