I did see it was as a joke (smiley included. I don't know why it didn't show up in my quote). My apologies if you assumed I thought down about the comment; I simply saw using it the way I did as a method to again thank you all for your advice without seeming trite, and as a good transition for my counter-advice for aidenpons without seeming irritated. If it came off wrong, I apologize again. (And yes, I get you're not irritated now either, but still am posting this long explanation. Just roll with it.) On to less serious topics! I think (please, please, please) that I am done with the Akaku nuva. I estimate that it took roughly 2.5-3 time longer than the average mask thus far, beating the record previously held by the Olmek. I give thee the Ridiculouslyovercomplicatedmasko'seeingthroughstuffthatisactuallyprettycoolifyoulookcloselybutnolessdifficulttodraw, whichcausedmetocomplainagreatdealbutwasactuallyquitefuntomake, andisthehardestcolortoshadewell. RRU Minecraft Server

So Antillies and I started off in a relatively nice spot, southwest of the mighty rock, in a savannah. The desert was close by but we didn't pay any attention to it. All went fine, we chopped down trees, crafted the mandatory set of stone tools and created a pig massacre. Antillies went out a bit to seek for a cave. By the time we both got there it was close to pitch dark outside but luckily the mobs showed mercy and didn't spawn around us. After quickly lighting torches and closing off the cave entrance we set up our temporary base and started mining more coal and iron ore. At the same time we tried to venture down further in the cave system, to be greeted by the vengeful Skeletons and nitwit Zombies. Two of the former gave me a surprise by suddenly appearing behind me via a ceiling hole, but luckily Antillies came and we slaughtered both. After that we smelted iron ore, crafted our iron equipment and decided to look for another way to go down in the cavern. That's the point where Antillies made a deathly mistake by breaking the wrong stone block, causing a zombie to take him down immediately after. I ran back to base like the chicken I am trying to save at least some dignity for team Block Chasers. Antillies's stuff was too dangerous to reach for, still being guarded by the undeath. I recollected my courage (talked a bit more with my deceased team member via a Skype call to revise tactics) and decided to go down via a stairway in search for the deeper lying cavities in Minecraft's flat world. While mining my way through I stumbled upon a vain of not 4, 5, 6 or 7, but 8 diamonds! I, happy as a kid who just received a lollipop, stashed the gems in my inventory and went back to looking for where those growling noises came from. In the meantime Shadowblaze died from starvation I believe so that put us, Arthuriel, RR Rocks (if I recall) and me, in a 1 VS 1 VS 1 fight. Later on I found the cave where the growling came from and also found pretty gold ore to supply my apples with a gold coating. A few blocks further I found a lava pool with diamond ore above it and a stream of water with more gold ore next to it, so I was cashing in in just the first hour. I got some obsidian for the enchantment table and mined some more. I figured I may be able to lock someone in with it later on. Me, fed up with the underground atmosphere, went up to explore the outskirts of our 'claimed area'. I had 18 diamonds in my pocket so that certainly gave me a huge advantage, but without a bow I felt naked. I stumbled upon an NPC village in the desert not far from our base, so this was a great moment to collect on carrots. The blacksmith's chests yielded 5 apples and iron horse armor, not any more special (not like the horse armor aided me during the UHC). To my great surprise a desert temple was just around the corner, with in it lots of gold bars, an enchanted book (Projectile Protection IV) and ofcourse the TNT. I was going nuts in front of my monitor which may have looked really stupid. Anyway, I stayed for a night with the lovely squidward people (who by dawn were mostly killed by zombies), made a few golden apples and then went out to look for my final opponent, Arthuriel. So in short I've been looking for Arthuriel for half the round to no avail. We were both looking for the other so I guess we must've missed each other by both walking counterclockwise over the map. The Ace Railgun got bored of us pointlessly running around in squares and opted for a Death Match pretty much from the point when there were only two man still standing, which was practically after an hour. Well, finally we were teleported to the mighty rock where the spawnpoint was at. I expected Arthuriel to have a bow at hand, but luckily that wasn't the case. Too bad maybe, since I actually had the best protection against arrows. Soon I discovered I was overpowered against him, he only having an iron sword and the fitting armor, along with lots of cobblestone. I slowly tried to get to him and lit a few blocks of TNT as a warning. He made a coward pillar of cobblestone, so the TNT didn't really help to get there. So, I made myself a small stairway to get to him. I lit a block of TNT right underneath him, but he got away faster than I anticipated. I forgot that the blast caused by the TNT could knock you off your platform, and since I was high up I fell down to receive a welcoming death in the sand. I suck. tl;dr: My experience and perspective of Minecraft UHC round 4. Just check out the footage The Ace Railgun made of this round (once he gets it uploaded).3 points -
Early Draft Of The LEGO Movie?

http://www.simplyscripts.com/2014/03/15/the-lego-movie-script/ http://www.screenplaydb.com/film/scripts/lego.pdf Whoa. Is this seriously legit? It certainly fits the early descriptions we heard of the movie, with Emmet being a descendant of these ancient Master Builder people (http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/03/14/lord-miller-talk-lego-movie), and the title being "LEGO: The Piece of Resistance" (http://www.slashfilm.com/phil-lord-chris-miller-offer-title-plot-details-warner-bros-lego-movie/). There's also this: http://writetoreel.com/forum/showthread.php?4895-REQUEST-quot-The-Lego-Movie-quot-(2014)-script&p=18486&viewfull=1#post18486 I've signed up for the forum but my account isn't approved yet so I can't download the file, but it's the same size as the one previously linked to. So unless it's something different that just happens to be the same size, that would date this draft to September 27, 2010 (the movie started development in 2008). Here's an analysis of it: http://www.filmdivider.com/the-lego-movie-we-didnt-see-with-indiana-jones-harry-potter-and-a-love-of-kubrick/ Sources: Simply Scripts2 points -
I had a little spare money and went to my local LEGO store. Fushigisaur had >convinced me >enough to go buy some Mixels, so I bought all three black ones and two of the yellow ones (sorry, I don't know the names ). They had nine racks but chose to spread those five across them all, rather than stock the whole series. Anyway, after building the standard models, I was inspired by the awesomely crazy appearances and their lack of symmetry. So I broke 'em all apart and built... Gary. I had no plan at all when building this, other than the initial "He's gots to hav lots of teh eyez, leik EIGHT EYEZ WOOOAAAH". I just stuck one part together after another and improvised the whole thing, so there were few occasions when I had to take something apart to build it differently. Oh yeah, he farts electricity. He's pretty poseable, particularly his head. And his main two eyes spin around, while his jaw opens and closes. Little things like that to add life to it. Gary's the first MOC I've made in a long time (since before entering the 'Dark Ages') that I've actually been really proud of . I don't want to change him in any way. He's gonna sit on my desk 4everz and be my l'il buddy. Hence I got a little overexcited and wrote a whole essay about him that you probably skimmed through. EDIT: Ah, my 1,111th post! A nice way to remember this.2 points

Is plain English more understandable than all this: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> If you answered yes! Then you will probably want to use these. Preview Download: https://app.box.com/s/owbmxkucbih08mql3lpv Currently almost everything in the WRL topic is done, except the ones missing major information that could be game breaking if not changed (only a few). The goal here is to make those unfamiliar with Hex editing an easier way to mod the WRL. Hey, I'm not programmer, but at least this is a step up from no programs at all!2 points -
Mixels!
Brigs reacted to STUDZ for a topic
Seeing as Fushigisaur has made us all even more aware (and interested) in LEGO's new Mixel line, I've bought myself a few and decided to watch a bit of the "show" (if one could even call the cartoons such). So, I've made it my responsibility to make a thread for Mixels discussion. What do you think of the "story" (loosely speaking here), and the models themselves? Personally, I think that while this series seems like a cash-in by LEGO and Cartoon Network, it's not the WORST idea I've seen (*COUGHBEN10COUGH*), and the pieces are highly reusable. My main qualm would be that the series 1 Mixels would be more memorable than the other series (although they do look cooler) Also, Flain looks NOTHING like his cartoon counterpart. But that's my opinion. What's yours?1 point -

Actually Ace, that is exactly what I want. All of these extra opinions help me iron out the many mistakes and issues that pop up. However, to Aidenpons, when critiquing, please be more specific. Squished could be vertical, horizontal, diagonal, or outwards (illusion of a Z axis through shading). I do want your help, but I don't really know what you mean, so can you give me a more detailed description? Thanks for the waffle though. Now I have almost all of the ingredients for my falafel fish waffles. Newest version of the Akaku Nuva:1 point -

Words cannot describe how adorable this is. The name is also cute, and fits well with the MOC. For what you had to work with, considering the Mixel's mis-matched and detrimental part supply, this is very nice! The use of the new mini-balljoints is great.1 point -
