Ladies and Gentlemen, I'd like to present you: The Far Lands! More pics here: You might be asking: "How the heck did you get there? It's pretty far from the spawn, you can't have walked all the way there. Anyways, you can't get there anymore". I used a fancy method I created. It consists in creating a world in 1.7.5 and teleporting to x or z 12550828 and y 128 while flying. Then exit the game, and change your game version to beta 1.7.3 (or earlier) using the minecraft launcher profile options. Open the game again, and play the world you just created. The world will generate again, but it will keep your coordinates. This means that you'll end up directly in the Far Lands! It was a pain to take all the pictures, because the Far Lands are pretty laggy. I mean, LAGGY.

I recreated the Chrome Crusher in Minecraft (its not as good as the real thing but thats what can be expected out of Minecraft): ?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent> Front view of the Chrome Crusher. Ditto, but from the back. View of the cab. Its very small and consists of a Lever that does nothing and a Button that fires a "laser" (basically its an arrow)... ...The arrows won't go too far though I also added Axle's clothing (because Axle comes in the Chrome Crusher set) along with a 'Rock Raiders Pickaxe' and 'Rock Raiders Shovel'. Before you ask, I dyed Leather clothing to change its colour (apart from the hat, that wasn't dyed). And thats all there is to it. --Ben24x7-- The Chrome Crusher has been updated! Now it is (ever so slightly) improved: ?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent> Comparision bettween old (top picture) and the new updated version (lower picture). The Chrome Crusher has a new laser 'cannon' as I like to call it. Thanks to Arthuriel for the suggestion of upgrading it. The laser 'cannon' may look odd but it was a design from the Official Minecraft RedStone Handbook. New laser 'cannon' in action. At the press of a button this will rapidly fire many arrows until it either runs out of arrows or is turned off via the Button. I also changed the Drill head (pun), originally it was a Button, but I decided to replace it with something bigger, and in this case, it was changed to a Skeleton Head. And lastly the Rollcage (finally figured out what it is) was updated. That is all the updates so far .

    LEGO Magazines!

Double posts and bumps are perfectly fine if you're being constructive. And you are. Good find, thanks for the scans! For a moment there I thought that was Jim Spaceborn on the cover, heh.

    Lego game *.fnt and *.ft2

Perhaps you should try to open it with a font viewing program instead of an image viewing program. Edit: Using the mystical power of a long forgotten power (Google), I have determined that DDS refers to DirectDraw_Surface, DXT5 refers to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S3_Texture_Compression, and NVTT may refer to Nvidia Texture Tools. I'm not the one to help you with this any further. Perhaps someone can help you more.

    LEGO Magazines!

Double post and topic revival?!? QUICK EVERYONE THROW THINGS AT TAZAKK So we know a lot about the US and UK LEGO magazines, and thanks to Dark_Turtle we know a fair amount about the German ones. But what about Canada? Let's go way, way back (okay, not that far back) to 1978. Like other early LEGO magazines, Design News began as a newsletter unaffiliated with any LEGO Club - that just didn't exist yet, disregarding Samsonite's 'unofficial' club from 1963. Since it was a Canadian publication, it had a separate title for French users, Innovations (this roughly translates to "Innovations" in English). Assuming Bricklink's catalog is complete, the newsletter dropped off in 1987, and came back as an eight-page magazine in 1990. At this point, someone also realized that "Innovations" meant the same thing in both languages and made it the absolute title. In 1994 when Brick Kicks became MANIA magazine in the US, Canada followed suit, but due to the need to publish in both French and English, much of the text from the US versions of MANIA was cut out (compare this to this). I recently snatched up an issue of LEGO Club Innovations on eBay. I was honestly expecting to find evidence that it contained mostly the same content as Brick Kicks, but instead I found a lot of evidence otherwise. Innovations has its own mascots, Billy Brick and Bridget, and a focus on sharing member content and informing readers of LEGO events around the country. This focus, in addition to the magazine's layout and other details like the president's letter, makes the issue strongly reminiscent of pre-1994 issues of Bricks n' Pieces, so presumably both magazines were handled by the same publisher. The issue is also limited to a mere eight pages, ranking it with Brick Kicks as one of the smaller LEGO Magazines. I'll put this into the first post eventually, but for now here are the links: ">Page 1 ">Page 2 ">Page 3 ">Page 4 ">Page 5 ">Page 6 ">Page 7 ">Page 8

Does anyone still play this? (My LEGO Network)

MLN is awesome. Okay, so there are several areas it could have been improved, but it was an awesome part of my LEGOhood. Having said that, I've pretty much given up trying to finish it (as I said previously). Getting the parts for the cottage masterpiece is blegh.

    LEGO1.DLL Documentation

Thanks Well you can see the registers and which function is stored in register xxxxxxx. (That's how trainers are made) Then you can modify each register with third-party software (or selfmade software),to modify or implement things you won't be able to do. (Incresing limits of polygons, entitys, hook functions and create pointers(...), things like that) For example move buildings and trigger some events in real-time without modifying the game files. The problem is that you can easily crash your game if you don't know the functionality of the game (how the developers did what they did)
