New version of ROCK RAIDERS - update

Hello Stewart. I have made a video on why you are wrong. https://ore.rockraidersunited.org/legacy/Proof_354239.mp4 This is a game called Space Engineers. You are able to dig freeform terrain with hand drills and larger drills attached to ships. As you can see, digging out that rock does not, in fact, result in a thin sliver of rock to get stuck on. I'm sure an experienced developer like you knows it's quite possible to have these systems in place and have them work for the player. However, knowing that you are an experienced developer, I understand that you must know what you are doing and will trust you to make the correct decisions.

    RRU Quotes 2: Reckoning

[21/04/2014 23:26:29] Will Kirkby: honestly, you know what I miss about the older TT games? [21/04/2014 23:26:44] Will Kirkby: speedrunning. [21/04/2014 23:27:01] Will Kirkby: the newer ones are almost impossible to speedrun because there's so many tedious puzzles in the way [21/04/2014 23:29:52] Will Kirkby: I just completed LSW1's first mission "Negotiations" in freeplay in 1 minute 9 seconds. [21/04/2014 23:30:08] Will Kirkby: (excluding opening text crawl and outro stats screen) [21/04/2014 23:32:06] Ramius Antillies: Well I guess you were right about one thing. [21/04/2014 23:32:11] Ramius Antillies: "Negotiations" were short. ---------------- I then went on to do a speedrun comparison of the first 2 levels of Lego Star Wars (2005) and The Lego Movie Videogame (2014): LSW1 (2005) - 1:09 and 2:21 for the first two levels (freeplay) TLMVG (2014) - 2:37 and 8:13 for the first two levels (forced story and freeplay respectively)

  3. Hey guys: So, I joined a game dev team. Since then, I've been very busy working on this game: Barony, a 3D, multiplayer Roguelike, which, has further-since been greenlit and available on Steam since June 2015! ** UPDATE JUNE 2016 ** Earlier this year, we have released a graphics overhaul, among continued new patches fixing bugs and adding new features. Additionally, as of June 27 2016, Barony is open source, licensed under the GPL 3.0. Github repository here. Here's some screenshots of the new version: Pre-2016 graphics-overhaul Screenshots:

    Really Bad Lag Issues

The guy's just asking for some support. Responding by calling him cheap, not helping him with his problem, and telling him to not even play the game is rude. Please don't do that. Anyway, from what I've been told, the game lags on Windows 8 unless you run it in a window or something. As I mentioned I've been wanting to try my hand at Neo Classic Space. Here is my first attempt. I present to you... ...Luke's Landspeeder with wings and a closed cockpit ...yeah. It needs work, I've already started making some changes but I thought I'd go ahead and post v1.0 anyway. Also I should mention that while it LOOKS like the landspeeder the construction is different. It's very SNOTty. ...I'm proud of those wings though. I think they turned out nice. *waits to be told what I did wrong*

Lego should make more Creator Games

Honestly, I'd be content if LDD had even a small, basic play around mode like LC1 did. I can get my fix of building random things in Digital Designer, seeing as it's essentially an improved Creator build mode with nearly all bricks, but I really miss the charm of watching those creations run around and do things. While I'd welcome a Creator 2, I like LDD's build mode so much, I kind of wish it would just be an add-on to that, even if it was just the basic features ported over from creator, such as moving minifigures and Drivable/Flyable vehicles. While I'd be more than happy with just that, part of me would really like to see a full-blown sequel that takes advantage of what is possible to do now. More detailed environments of a larger variety, weather, boats, spaceships and other misc. vehicles... It'd be great fun.

I claim voicing Jay... because my actual real name is Jay . Fair enough? I'm not even lying about that, my actual name really is Jay. Anyway, I'll try and get my line recorded within the next couple of days.

    Really Bad Lag Issues

The game lags on Windows 8 in fullscreen mode. The only known solution is to run the game in >windowed mode.

  11. Thanks for the support, guys! Ya, I've seen people going "I SEE A CUBE. MINECRAFT CLONE *leaves*." We've got an artist, though, so the models and textures are going to get better. What an awesome coincidence Please, guys, do spread the word, regardless of whether or not you end up backing the project! The best advertising is word of mouth Er...a download for it? No...maybe... OH OH HERE I AM Can I do an attempt to see if I can make the kind of music you need? I think we're set with music for now. We have an awesome musician working with us who's been furiously hacking away at it. However, I will keep your offers in mind should we find out we need more help with that. As for art, we might need more help with that. For now, we want to see how the kickstarter turns out before we make any plans. I'll keep your offers in mind though, so thank you all for your offers.

Modifying badcop's attachment objects: I corrupted the file a little, it seems the skeleton torso is the default failover model: Success! (kinda) Bonus round: apparently the back of badcop's head is.... badcop's face again.

Here's my terrible attempts. I feel the one for Steve/Cosmos could apply for either, only difference is the lines. I improved all the lines really lazily since I've got other things to work on atm. I would certainly love to do at least one boss, Johnny Thunder and a minor character, but its upto you guys. I'll fill in whatever you need.
