    Did someone order transparency? I was able to.... obtain a copy of photoshop and removed the white myself. Unfortunately, on a dark background it's much easier to see the spots where to color bled out of the outline >:c

    This is a C# rewrite of >Le717's GDBump tool. Instead of taking text file input, this takes raw binary GDB input files and exports raw binary GDB output files. Usage is otherwise exactly the same, and I've also added 'u' and 'v' as aliases for 'tu' and 'tv' respectively. REQUIRES .NET FRAMEWORK 4.     GDBump (C#)

    Short version: having just released >LibLR1, I wanted a simple-ish example to demo how to make tools with it. And then I was like "hey, GDBump exists and the process sounds kinda yucky (bin->text->bump->text->bin), let's try implementing that". So I did. Seriously, have a browse of the source on bitbucket, you'll see how easy it is to make tools with LibLR1. It's not about competition and inter-modder rivalry. It's about getting good tools into the hands of modders and making their lives easier.

    GDBump 0.9.0-beta.1

    Hey guys, just wanted to say that effective immediately, development of GDBump has been canceled. Instead, you are all to delete whatever downloads you have and immediately start using WillKirkby's >C# version of GDBump, which is much faster and directly reads and writes the .GDB files. No more copy-paste to and from the Binary Editor! Usage is exactly the same as my tool, so nothing much will really change. Source code and all that fun stuff will remain online, but I will not be updating this anymore. Please use Will's version instead. You will be glad you did. Thanks for all your support and help.

    I forgot to post this. I'd almost finished the Hover Scout, but then got some commission work and have been quite busy since. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it in a couple of weeks when I'm done. Yep, it's floating! All that's left is to: Properly model the legs Add the control sticks Possibly shift the lights sideways a bit, I think I put them too far inward

    Improvements Pack 1.0 (For Cafeteria) This mod is a general configuration improvements pack for LEGO Rock Raiders. It contains various adjustments to the game's settings to improve the playing experience. The full list of changes for the game as of v1.0 Texture Usage Increased x 4 Slight increase to FP highpoly range Increased Camera Speed Camera scrolls closer to map borders Increased Camera Clipping distance Full camera rotation and increased zoom distance Disabled AVI/DDI splash New monster notifications for each type. Landslide Alert removed. Rock Raider teleportations don't slow down the game (or landslides). Rock Raiders have a slightly decreased energy decay rate. (They'll work longer) Small spiders don't cause Rock Raiders to slip Increased difficulty of Rock/Lava/Ice monsters. They move faster, they don't retreat, weapons do a lot less damage... and they cause more damage to buildings. Lava Monster Cannot be frozen, Pusher beam is best weapon against them. Rock Monster: Freezer beam is best weapon against them. Ice Monster: Can cross water(not sure if they actually do, Lava Monsters are apparently set to cross lava).     Avatar - Na'vi

    I've wanted to do this for a long time now, but it's only five years after the movie's release (and a few before the sequels) that I've had a go. I... I dunno. I'm not really happy with it. A Na'vi averages 10ft tall, so should be just less than twice the height of a human. Can anyone please help me improve upon the model? Note: There shouldn't be any gap between the 1x2 jumper and the body, LDD just won't let me put the technic pieces all the way in.

    Mars Enhance

    I just did a simple mod for Mars. I always thought it looked a bit dull, so I added some objects here and there to fill the empty spots. It's nothing too complex, just new objects and an alien moved somewhere else. Downloads So, I decided to put two different downloads up: The "beginner" version and the "Compatibility" version. The first one is easier to install, but hasn't got any compatibility with other mods of the game. The Compatibility version is harder to install, but lets you preserve mods that overwrite a WRL file. Beginner Download link: https://ore.rockraidersunited.org/legacy/LR2%20Mars%20Enhance_588621.zip Installation instructions: Overwrite the files and you're good to go. Compatibility Download link: https://ore.rockraidersunited.org/legacy/LR2%20Mars%20Enhance%20%28Compatibility%29_831438.zip Installation instructions: Open MARS.WRL and the downloaded files (MARS.PT1 and MARS.PT2) with an Hex Editor. Copy all the content from MARS.PT1 to the end of the file MARS.WRL; then using the "Find" function of your Hex Editor search for "Antaries" (yep, the developers can't spell), and overwrite all the bytes that follow OBMGcScriptTrigger with the OBMGcTrigger segment that is located in the downloaded file; then repeat the process, but this time with the OBMGcMiniFig that contains the word "Antaries". It's a bit of a complex and twisted process (same goes for the instructions ), but I believe it's worth it. Here there are a couple pics of the most important changes: As I said already, this is a simple mod, and doesn't have really that many changes. So don't come here and rant at me if you don't like it.

    Sadly not. I appreciate how useful a feature it'd be, but to my knowledge I can't store extraneous data in the binary files without the game screaming at me. I might look into alternate methods of doing it, but don't hold your breath. In other news, I've just uploaded a minor update. This fixes a couple of issues that le717 pointed out. On the backend it also ditches some internal code, relying now on >LibLR1 instead. This makes my development setup a lot cleaner and will mean a more stable setup going forward.

    Menu music audio quality changes

    Okay, that's weird, the game swaps the stereo channels and does some other weird things with volumes. But what's most interesting is that the change is gradual, and not harsh, as I thought. I have no clue what it's caused by, but it may be random MIDI corruption, or something like that. After all, the game plays a sound effect when opening menus, maybe the game can't switch soundbanks fast enough and corrupts the panning sequences in the MIDI. That happens with Pokémon too.

    Aw, thanks! Yeah, I'd like to revive that, but I'll do some more separate models first. I was thinking of creating buildings, adding more vehicles and making the racers into the Rock Raiders, but I'd like to have a decent amount done before updating Rock Racers.

    1. Get >this. It should provide most if not all track textures. 2. Edit the included .BMP files to your likings. 3. Place them in the extracted .JAM in the right folder. Make sure to replace the right texture. 4. Compile .JAM.
