Phantom Terror complete. I had originally intended to post him at the same time as Pereki but I got stuck on some details and took longer than expected, so i went ahead and posted Pereki first. And now, together!

No new drawing at this time, though I have several I'm currently working on. Rather, I'd like to share some of the initial sketches for recent drawings, because I think they look cool.

Some more information on the third installment in LEGO Publishing's The Pirates series of comics as well as some other story ideas Per Sanderhage had but never implemented: "I'm not certain... I think I wrote three, but I cannot remember if the third was ever drawn. I haven't got if it exist... cannot even remember what it was about. I had several ideas... one about our heroes ending up in South America and a nasty individual who could control a tame alligator with a flute... another (which would have been a lot fun) with a female pair of scoundrels as immoral as the pirates."-Per Sanderhage Also, I learned recently of the existence of 3 unpublished Pirates books from the 1990 Ladybird series. Their titles are Captain Roger smells gold, Trouble on Pirate Island, and Dark Shark to the Rescue. So my parents trashed the scanner I had been using previously when I left for college. I went out to Office Max today to see about getting the comic scanned, but I'm sorry, but we can't scan 20-year-old mail order toy and cookie comics that have absolutely no bearing on their creators at this point in time because copyright law. On to plan B then, but it'll be at least another day to wait. My apologies!

Okay, since i am curios. I decided to check and see how many points in total everybody has. So I'm not clear on how point stealing works, whenever you steal half of the other players total points (the player has 4 points and loses 2 of them to the other played due to the steal) or the points they would have gained from the pass (the player loses 1 point while the stealing player gets 1 point) So i made two scored boards just in case. If the player steals half the players Total points, this is the score. Originally this topic was geared towards the discussion of the mid-80s LEGO Publishing Classic Space comic book series, Jim Spaceborn, but it's since expanded from its roots to encompass retro LEGO comics, storybooks, animated cartoons, and the like in general. I'm however retaining the original contents of the OP below to serve as this topic's initial subject of discussion and to maintain the flow of the topic. For the uninitiated, Jim Spaceborn was a Classic Space oriented LEGO comic book series authored and illustrated by Frank Madsen , and developed and produced in collaboration with LEGO's short-lived publishing division, LEGO Publishing from 1983-1987. The series was initiated after the production of an internal prototype Classic Space book titled Trapped in Space in 1983(from which Jim Spaceborn would later draw a good deal of its inspiration and story elements), written by Douglas Hill and illustrated with photographs. However, the book was never published as LEGO later scrapped the children's book concept, and thus gave birth to the Jim Spaceborn comic book series. The series comprised of three 48-page installments and a series of three 24-page mini-comics, the third installment and the series of mini-comics, however, were never published. Development began with a white 12-page test album "Mission Spyspids", after which a second test album with imagery on 31 pages, and the vast majority of the rest of the album's pages being blank merely to give it the feeling of a final album was produced, this one carrying the name "Jan Spaceborn: Galaxens Hemmelighed". Though the name Jan was later changed to Jim subject to being deemed politically explosive. Both the test albums, unlike the final releases, were hardcover books rather than paperback. Finally, Jim Spacborn 1: The Unknown Galaxy was produced, and published in 6 countries. After which development of the series' second installment Jim Spaceborn 2: The Kidnappers From Swamp Planet/Castle of the Darkmen commenced and was published in 5 of the aforementioned six countries excluding Denmark. The unpublished third installment was titled Panic On Board of which I've uploaded layouts provided by Frank Madsen, and the 3 mini-comics titled The Monorail Service, Cleaning Robot, and The Competition. According to Erik Dyhr Thomsen, LEGO Publishing Product/Development Manager 1982-1988 LEGO Publishing was created by Keld Kirk Kristiansen, current owner of LEGO. His idea of LEGO Publishing was that they should use LEGO bricks in various media, such as books and movies. I've been in contact for a good while now with Frank Madsen among a whole host of others on the series' development team and generally people who collaborated on the project. Frank has been instrumental in the discovery of a lot of the aforementioned, having generously provided the images of the entirety of the contents of the 1983 internal prototype book Trapped in Space, the layouts for Jim Spaceborn 3, the entirety of the initial 10-page test album of The Unknown Galaxy, 1984 and 1987 Jim Spaceborn character model sheets, the original pages of The Unknown Galaxy, some covers and layouts from some of the 3 unpublished mini-comics, and much more to come, some of which I've yet to upload and will edit into the original post when they become available. He's also informed me that sometime in 1986 a Jim Spaceborn animated film was planned and produced in a Danish studio led by Jeffrey James Varab (a former Disney animator) and Jakob Stegelmen. Though development only reached the extent of a storyboard of the initial 10 minutes of the film. Soon after I contacted Jeffrey, and he told me that not only was a feature film based on the comics planned, but as well a series and video game. Earlier this week, after I brought Fred Cop back I felt flooded with a bunch of ideas for a new story. I began work, and am still working on it, however I wrote it in the format of a script instead. I've just read through the script so far, and it's looking pretty good. A couple of improvements you could make: Anyway, keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more! Also, have you considered doing this script as a comic? Just a thought.

(Note: It says clone, that's a typo, ignore it. Was meant to say "Pawn") I didn't like how this one turned out, so let me explain. After their orbital assassination of a certain dragon, recon scouts landed and spied on Joe, until they got a fix on his location. They send up a message, and the fleet mobilises. The Pants Enforcer lands and almost immediately throws Joe in a stasis (shown running in Panel #2). The Pants Enforcer finds him suspicious, and so he tells him to carry a message back to his "masters", assuming somebody else was responsible for the explosion of RRU tower. Either way, it is confirmed. The REPAs have landed on Earth, and are bringing an entire invasion fleet with them. Lord help anybody not wearing pants.

I potentially have found someone that might be able to translate a couple of the dramas - it'd be a load off of Runamuck's back, in any case. Nothing certain, but I'll keep everyone posted.

NOTE; THIS POST DOES NOT ADVANCE THE STORY/PLOT IN ANY WAY, ITS JUST A POINTER Right, I thought about it and I've come up with a name for my Third Party; "Fund-our-corp" is just an idea I had where if you pronounce it, you get "Thunder corp". "Fund-our-corp" is Thunder corp's back-up in the event Thunder corp has either been defeated or that they are in danger of being found out. When Thunder corp is not in danger or gone, Fund-our-corp spends it's time attempting to conquer Technology and Computer markets, failing every time.

I really appreciate Ben throwing up an image that's not drawn. I suck at drawing, I don't find it fun, yet I want to be a part of this for the fun of it (not for marking or winning or anything, just to run my own little story on the side). If it's an art battle, people should be able to create that art in whatever way they're most comfortable with. Anyway, before I show my first entry, we need to flash back to two posts. That has woken up a monster, and he will not stop until pants justice is enacted.

Nothing to say but what I've said already.

Good news: the collection of old Klick issues is still available and I already have someone in France willing to forward them to me. I'm arranging their purchase now. Edit: The order's been placed, but we're not quite out of the woods yet. Let's just hope it first arrives locally in France, then manages to safely make its way internationally to the states.
