  2. I don't get how any reaction is appropriate right now. They're just names! We haven't even seen the sets themselves yet. Objecting to the very idea of a Scooby-Doo theme? I can understand. Objecting to the design of the sets? I can understand. But we've already passed the former and haven't reached the latter yet... There's literally nothing to react to right now.

    So you could build a model with your left hand and another model with your right hand and a virtual model with your eyeballs. You could totally have convention contests like that. Future's gettin' pretty weird, man.

    Imagine a world where you had the power to build LEGO with your mind. Or eyes, which is sort of close. LEGO is already envisioning that world (on a digital level, of course), as they demonstrated at Consumer Electronics Show 2015. The Eye Tribe is a software developer that, as you may have already surmised, is developing consumer-level eye-reading technology.     Suddenly Creator: Knight's Kingdom actually looks fun, and things actually look like they do more than walk in a squircle. I notice that very carefully they didn't mention LI2's loading times, thought the Brickster has a different face? %OfTimeActualGameplayIsShowingInTheLRRTrailer= 14% (yes, I calculated that ) Anyway, I'm marginally surprised that they did have TV commercials, and furthermore, am surprised by how rare they are. Do we have any French speakers to translate the LRR ad? I dunno how dead topic is, so Anonymouse might be able to help.

    Small correction: bug three should read "Passing a folder path throws a PermissionError", e.g. "CCDU.exe C:UsersFolder". Maybe you knew what I meant, but better safe than sorry. Sweet. Seriously, I am looking forward to reading your source code. It's odd, but I often like to see the code of beginners. It gives me as a "teacher" (hahaha ), tutorial writer, and programmer an idea of the common mistakes and failures beginners make, and where I can work to help prevent those mistakes. So don't start trying to make your code all "right" or anything because I said this. I am not going to judge you or stuff like that, just simple observation and analysis.

    Me. Because soon this will give cyberdyne the ability to read our thoughts with our EYEBALLS. I'd love to build with real LEGOs, but i have a very little amount of bricks that are available to me (i have a huge blue ben of them but its too hard to get into it)

    I would not enjoy this much, for the same reason I'm not a huge fan of LDD - I like the feel of LEGO bricks under my fingers. Building digitally is also a lot less intuitive (at least for me). It's a really cool idea, though, and giving people who can't use their hands the ability to build with LEGO bricks is awesome.

    I can see the application of such technology being incredibly popular among disabled audiences. But for the general public, I dunno... Just as with reading books, I much prefer building LEGO physically than digitally. However it would be a great alternative to LDD when building with parts you don't have.

    *cough cough* We can do that already, it's called "Imagination"... ...DUH. Who needs stupid tech like this?! We don't need machines to do the building for us, as long as our brains are never ripped from their home-based skulls WE CAN DO WITHOUT. WHO IS WITH ME!? *Moment of silence, before being repeatedly beat up* ...but on a serious note, this is a big step into the future of Lego. The idea interests me, but the reality scares me so.

    I love every single thing you just said, but how could you have forgotten Robo Riders? That theme suffers from major middle-child syndrome. Sandwiched right between Slizer and Bionicle, and overshadowed by both of them.

    Meanwhile I'm over here honestly and completely preferring the aesthetics of Slizers over any Bionicle sets for those reasons. That's not for nostalgia reasons either; I only had one or two of the Toa Mata and no Slizers at all. My Bionicle-related nostalgia is with the Toa Nuva and such, even though I think those were blatantly ugly (especially the masks). I couldn't find a good gif of a mob with pitchforks.

    I won't argue that. On a technical level, I have to concede that the new models are far superior. But as far as aesthetic and charm, the originals win out easily. I mean, the new sets are good, and they have a unique design language that I appreciate. But the language that the 2001 models follow feels more unique and definitive. The new sets are streamlined action figures. The originals are mechanical and alien, defying human proportions and establishing themselves as their own thing. I'm probably just waxing nostalgic, but so it goes. I really really love what they are doing with Pohatu. The original Pohatu is just this super friendly, absolutely genuine guy. He's clumsy as heck but there isn't a person out there that has better intentions then him. He is powerful enough to bring down a massive rock formation with a single kick, and goofy enough to moonwalk in celebration. And the new guys looked at this, and they said, "yeah, but what if we made him a badass?" It's the most unintuitive thing to do, and that's why I love it so much. Here we have our dear Pohatu, befriender of the BIONICLE Batman and patron Toa of sports, striding straight-faced and unflinching through a blazing desert as the Protector of Stone struggles behind him. He speaks in the most fake of grizzly Australian accents, becomes a tornado of energy at the tightening of a fist, throws boomerangs with dead accuracy, and shows only single-minded determination as an emotion. Somehow, it is the most absurd way one could skew the original character that comes across as the product of the most love and care from the creators. They know this isn't the original Pohatu, and they are saying "Hey, we remember Pohatu. Here's something new."

    Axel's Mod 1.5 (Updated, 4/10/2015)

    I'm working on improving the overall biome textures, and so this will include my new biomes and the old ones alike. I'm also, in doing this, trying to rectify issues that existed in the old biomes and those introduced in my new ones, such as color issues and so on. Most of the problems were of my own causing, though, so I've been working on fixing them to the best of my ability, modeling a new, actually lego-ized wall support, using the models in the game for the energy crystal and ore seam textures, revamping the lava textures and rubble textures, and so on. This is just to make things blend together a bit more, and to improve the graphics quality overall. I hope you enjoy!
