Everyone should give money to RRU for Chirstmas. P.S. I just did.6 points -
The P-type Warboat is among the most feared units in the ground fleet of Keamonus-ϕ. It's main hull is heavily armored, and can comfortably fit an entire platoon of soldiers within it. It's not the fastest machine out there, but it favors stability- the legs are fitted with hydraulic suspension, the feet are designed to grip terrain of any material and elevation, and the motion of the machine is controlled by a gyroscopic sensor that can keep it upright in the worst of conditions. Uneven terrain, inclement weather or heavy artillery cannot knock it over. However, it does have a weakness in [DATA REDACTED]šã€Œæ–‡å—化ã‘〠is fitted with two long-range ion cannons that tear through enemy lines. These cannons generate a lot of heat- sufficient ventilation is available, but overuse is still not recommended. There are also two smaller plasma cannons on the front end of the hull for close-range combat. Right, I may go back and edit that fluff later, but you get the gist. This design... I wanted to do something a bit rounded, which the overall design ended up not being but there are an abundance of round elements used. I also ended up using a few elements I didn't expect to find useful... there's also another purpose for this model, but I'll get to that later. While we're at it, it would be nice if the system were quicker to realize that you're gone. It's annoying when you accidentally press ctrl-w, and the site, Aristotle-be-damned, insists that you're both in the chat room and not in the chat room, and consequently doesn't let you in.4 points -

What's happening, folks? I've got a bit of a new animation to share today. I've been working with the assets from Templar's BIONICLE stuff to make my own animations for a few years now (time really does fly, my gosh), and for this one I aimed for a distinct change of pace to match working in a new setting. I really wanted to bring out the characters here, focusing on what I'd like to think are subtleties in movement and behavior - the stuff where the real fun is at. This all in contrast to the more action-oriented stuff I have done previously. This is really only a part of what I hope will be a longer animation that completes the story set up here, but I had to get this specific part done for a project and it turned out so nice I really wanted to share it. (and if you want to see the other stuff I've done, go here - heads up that the earlier ones are pretty stinky, though) I love feedback so don't hold back, type up a post!3 points -

Maybe not, but I'd rather help the site where and when it needs it rather than let it die/suffer. Right now it cries for funds, so that's darn well where I'll be helping it.2 points -

"participating" If you are silent that long I'd say the people are talking to a wall, or you're just being a lurker. At this point I may as well suggest a "Don't kick me!" button which refreshes your inactivity time without the need to send a message.2 points -
Interplanetary Interceptor

I was thinking about making a Blacktron MOC for a while now, and this is what I came up with. Enjoy. The Interplanetary Interceptor is a spacecraft built for the uses of the ominous Blacktron. It can blast off to very high speeds, and possesses four powerful laser cannons. Built within the depths of Blacktron itself, it is known for being a very dangerous vehicle, but very vulnerable and weak as well. Regardless of its downsides, the vehicle is still used to scout for enemy Space Police forces nearby, blasting them to pieces. Many traveling space traders of Futuron fear this vehicle, as these have destroyed and pirated several merchant ships in their history. (I made this MOC on another computer that I don't have access to right now, so I'll have to wait until I can take pictures of the different angles.) I actually originally planned this MOC to be a transforming vehicle, with the ability to switch from an air vehicle to a land vehicle, but it proved to be too complex, and so I had to scrap it. I might do it in my next MOC though.1 point -

It'd be nice if we had some sort of timed auto kick feature in the chat room that kicked people after like 5 minutes of being afk so we don't get people who sit in chat all day not chatting for the majority of time in there, or just if the forget to log off the chat before they go. This feature would be nice even without the 5 person limit just so it gets cleared up.1 point -

Fair enough! I tried something else here and I know I can't please everyone. I'd like to think that part of it is that this really wasn't written to be a standalone episode - maybe it will hold up better for you once it has been set into its proper context. Re: the buzzing/horns, Quis your ears must be far beyond mine because I cannot for the life of me detect a click in the loop. Will keep that in mind for later stuff, though. @aidenpons I could have done something else, but the horns are kind of emblematic of Onu-Koro and it wouldn't have felt right to me to do anything else.1 point -

If something like this does happen, be sure to disable this if their is only one person in the room. Otherwise we are going to need to talk to ourselves while waiting for other people to join1 point -

The only problem with that is people could still lurk and take up spaces, without actually typing. Also yeah 30, and even 15 minutes is too long. I'd go with 10 minutes at the most.1 point -

Not really. Once we hit the limit of what we could change, people started to lose interest. Not to mention that as we've gotten older, we've all become a little harder on the game and've started admitting it wasn't that great. I'd say that some of the overhauls being finished might have kept things going, but ever since Windows 8 came out it's been slowly dying as far as compatibility, so even if we hadn't moved on a lot of us can't run it any more without going to a great deal of trouble with driver crap. At this point, this community is basically just a general Lego community, but simultaneously more mature than places like BZPower and more... unhinged than places like Eurobricks. Pretty much the only chance of recovery at this point is if Cirevam somehow finishes Time Raiders, but he's busy and everyone who was helping him fell off the face of the earth (including me for a long while). Axel's Mod was looking hopeful but he's disappeared too. Even then, I don't know how many people would even play it at this point, considering how cynical everyone's become about the game. Meanwhile, the wiki is drowning in spam bots and the only person who's able to do anything about it has fallen off the face of the earth. And DDI has train-wrecked completely. At this point I'm just hoping that someone in the far future will make a game with a similar concept and environment but a far superior execution that will actually hold up sixteen years later. tldr: it's just you. five years ago I'd have never believed it either, but here we are. sorry.1 point
