The P-type Warboat is among the most feared units in the ground fleet of Keamonus-ϕ. It's main hull is heavily armored, and can comfortably fit an entire platoon of soldiers within it. It's not the fastest machine out there, but it favors stability- the legs are fitted with hydraulic suspension, the feet are designed to grip terrain of any material and elevation, and the motion of the machine is controlled by a gyroscopic sensor that can keep it upright in the worst of conditions. Uneven terrain, inclement weather or heavy artillery cannot knock it over. However, it does have a weakness in [DATA REDACTED]šã€Œæ–‡å—化ã‘〠is fitted with two long-range ion cannons that tear through enemy lines. These cannons generate a lot of heat- sufficient ventilation is available, but overuse is still not recommended. There are also two smaller plasma cannons on the front end of the hull for close-range combat. Right, I may go back and edit that fluff later, but you get the gist. This design... I wanted to do something a bit rounded, which the overall design ended up not being but there are an abundance of round elements used. I also ended up using a few elements I didn't expect to find useful... there's also another purpose for this model, but I'll get to that later. Custom Test Track v0.1
GBTM101 and one other reacted to Sluicer for a topic
Guys, finally here is the afaik first custom test track. I know there is a lot of work to do, but I would like to ask you to test the version 0.1. I did not edit the wdb files for now. You have to unpack the archive into your TEST folder; don't forget to make a backup before. I hope I did not forget anything (feedback would be good! Thanks).2 points -
A couple -okay actually a few- things. Seeing the title of the topic made me think this was going to be a boat, not a mecha. Nice cannons. I like how you used skeleton torsos to connect them. The knees look like they could be wiped out rather quickly. Other than that, it seems decent.2 points

Computer Hardware Assistance (General)

I wrote you via Skype, but I think it's better to post my stuff here again since that way other people can also read it and add their thoughts. -there are graphics cards, that are faster than your current card and don't need an external power supply (the pcie 6 or 8 pin connectors, you have mentioned). A pcie x16 slot can supply up to 75 watts (you need the cables only for the more demanding cards). Here is a bunch of cards (the link only serves as an example), that you can choose from, if you don't have an external power supply cable (although there are adapters to solve that problem): https://skinflint.co.uk/?cat=gra16_512&bpmax=120&v=e&hloc=uk&filter=update&bl1_id=30&sort=t&xf=5586_aktiv~147_1~5585_ohne~24_75~132_1024#xf_top Yeah, there are way too many cards on the list, but before you decide to buy one, there are some questions* (or just notes from me), that you should answer since that will (hopefully) help us (in case, that more people will read this thread) to give you better answers**: -since you wrote about getting a faster graphics card, it probably means, that it is the limiting factor in your system and not other components like the CPU, right? (It's also a question, what games you play since some demand a good gpu (=graphic card) and/or a good cpu etc.) -your current configuration (since you posted some stuff on your rru profile, that is a good start, although it might be helpful to know a bit more about things like the mainboard etc. Just to make sure.) -how much are you willing to spend (and what do you prefer? new or used?) -do you plan on upgrading other parts of your computer? -apparently you don't use the small pcie x1 slot & pci slot*** (the thing, that you marked with an arrow) at the moment. If that stays this way you can also use cards, that are higher than one slot (two slots etc.) *there are probably more questions, but those are the ones, that came to my mind (I could also ask, what card you almost bought by accident for curiosity's sake) **in theory I could just write stuff like "Just buy a nVIDIA GTX 750 or 750Ti and be done with it" (and maybe it will turn out, that this is the best answer by accident/coincidence^^), but maybe buying a slower one or waiting for a full pc upgrade are the better options ***it's not a pcie slot like your note indicated1 point -
RRUcraft Minecraft Server
The Ace Railgun reacted to Sparks8805 for a topic
Since there hasn't been much going on with the server as of late, I would like to gather some ideas in order to "refresh" interest in the server. A few ideas already given to me include a server-wide reset, which would leave the server in vanilla survival, and a fully modded survival server. If any changes are to be made, I would like to have them ready around the new year. Please feel free to throw out any suggestions you might have.1 point -
Custom Test Track v0.1

Yeah, I will work on that. I used original textures from LRR - but the uv-coordinates are not good by now. I will try to create a better version. If you have any suggestions which textures I should use I could also use better ones. Because some of my techniques are semi-automated, I have to be carefull (expecially in the corners - there I should also use different textures). That was really fast and is really cool. I appreciate your support! @Xiron: I think the test track is not designed to work with wormholes :-). I think you were lucky, that you landed at a position where the main floor was also present. Yes, I think so. But this track has special attributes, that made it a little bit more simple. E.g. there is only one level (no ramps) and all walls are at 90°. That was also really fast. I like it! Thank you also for the support. Yes, it is. I will continue the research on that, if someone finds a workaround for the triangle limit: http://www.rockraidersunited.com/topic/6313-leb-files/?do=findComment&comment=112162 Otherwise, nothing new from my side.1 point -

I'm credited as a tester on Toki Tori for Wii U, and as a programmer on EDGE, RUSH, and Swords & Soldiers for Wii U. I'll probably be credited in RIVE when it releases. I will also be in the credits for LEGO MARVEL's Avengers when it launches next year. f**** yeah, game development.1 point -
Small Transport Truck
aidenpons reacted to Jimbob for a topic
I wanted to hold off posting an update until this was finished, but it's been over a week now and I just wanted to show that I have still been working on it. Behold... The almost-complete Small Transport Truck! Updates: Added 3D grilles Finished the back turquoise plate-with-bar Added parts on the back, including hinge brick Redesigned the wheels (now retextured with modified LRR textures) All that I have left to add are: Back tipper bucket, including LRR logo tile inside Seat back Steering wheel EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention - the developers made Redbeard's wheels as octagons, using 208 Vertices, 112 Indices and 19 Indices Meta entries to do so. I made mine as octagons also, but only used 48 Vertices, 40 Indices and 22 Indices Meta entries!1 point
