    GBA Maps

Since there was only a GBA map of LEGO Island already on the internet, I decided to piece segments together and create full-scale maps of the other locations. OGEL Island: Castle Island (credit to @Xiron for providing me a hacked save state) Space Port: Adventurers Island (not explorable, but this is displayed in between the minigames)

LRR Map Expander (New language, new GUI)

Over 2 years ago, I developed and released a little command line app in C for increasing the size of LRR map files. A year later, I worked on a version of the software written in C#, but didn't complete it. Now, as I practice stuff during my vacation time, I've decided to complete it and release it. The software is again designed to increase the original size of LRR map files, both .map and .ol components. Release Instructions Drag all map files into the executable, select your settings, hit the big shiny expand button, and receive the expanded files in the resulting output folder. Features Ability to handle all .map files and the .ol file if they have the same names as files exported by Map Creator v0.9.10 Ability to increase the width and height of the maps by separate values Height Match, a feature ensuring that the map expansions have height values that align with the original height map. GUI with user inputs, expand button, and log.

    Inside the Information Center

I noticed that when you load the infocenter in LI2, the camera is initially placed looking backwards from where it usually does. It corrects itself after a few frames, but this allows you to see what the rest of the building looks like inside: The PS1 version is actually a bit more detailed, with the Infomaniac working at a computer, and also allowing you to walk around freely. And of course, the inside of the building is detailed on the model loaded on the main island, too - most buildings are, actually, but you get to see the infocenter's interior up close in the cutscene where the Brickster escapes. Combined with the Whack-A-Bot minigame... Which one is the "real" one?

    The Tribeswoman Speaks

I think there's a more pressing issue with these islanders: EDIT A LONG WHILE LATER: Turns out most of the stuff being discussed in this topic is actually from a beta version of the game and isn't in the final version. The nude islanders are in the final game though. More info here:

Ooh I remember coming across that gallery years ago. Here's the rest of the pics for convenience: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=630

    Unused Tribal Character Texture

I'm speeding through LI2 on the ePSXe emulator right now. I managed to reach Adventurer's island and find the islanders. For some reason, they're all redheads... The tribeswoman's speech glitch doesn't occur until after Mr. Hate's Camp IIRC - I'll definitely post a video for that later.

Can't remember where I found this, but I saved it to my computer a while ago.

    GBA Maps

Here's something I've noticed: those 2x4s embedded in the ground appear to have no tubes at the bottom. So either the Brickster is using bricks from the 50's or the artists simply couldn't be arsed to draw them. And considering this is LI2 you should already know the answer.
