    Lego Time Cruisers comics

Ok so. This person has the first six issues of the French run of Klick magazine up for sale, spanning from April 96 to February 97. Considering the last issue I have from the Austrian run is March/April 96, and the German debut issue from Dark_Turtle's scans is March/April 97, we could very well be looking at the rest of the missing comics. Buuuuut I can't really justify dropping 10 bucks per issue, and I don't even know if this guy will ship to the US through that site. So yeah. Just thought I should mention this was a thing, I guess. Always around Christmas this stuff shows up, huh?

Uhh. Hmm. Do we know anybody in France...? Also, if anybody signs up for that site, might want to choose which email address you use carefully (assuming you have more than one):

    Happy Holidays! (Xi-mation)

Naw, just the part that holds the leg and torso together is absent (I should fix that one day...), although I guess it does kinda look like that. Yeah, I kinda had the feel while making it. "Boy this is a little bit depressing..."

    Happy Holidays! (Xi-mation)

I think the teleporter malfunctioned again; that poor Rock Raider doesn't have any legs. Despite being short 'n' simple, this is actually quite nice, almost depressing in a way. Plus, it reminds me of something I was trying to cook up for christmas: a poster with Chief sitting in front of a cosy fireplace as Rock Raider's unknowingly walk into the fire (but I never completed it, I only got as far as setting up the scene and lighting up the fire, but that was it).

    Pylon, the Brute

A renowned warrior from the distant planet Mechaniron, Pylon leads his legion of brutes into battle against all who oppose him. ~~~ Flickr Album ~~~ So this MOC took about two months to build, nitpick over, and rebuild to get to the point it's at today. I can personally say that I'm pleased with the way Pylon came out in the end, being originally driven by the usage of Hero Factory 1.0 pieces in different ways (I mean, the leg armor is still leg armor, but it's upside down now). The longer I took with him, the more the MOC evolved from a much smaller drone-like character into a hulking, ax-wielding brute. In the story I'm developing, he is part of the same robotic species as Spry (a MOC I made earlier this year), as well as in the same universe as Carmine Wheeler and the Gasket Brothers.

    Lego Time Cruisers comics

Okay, here we go! Last three English and original. So let me break this down: #4 from Sept. 95 is the first to call anything in-comic "Timebuster," and it isn't the kid - it's the time machine. The next one, from November, goes back to just calling the time machine "the time machine" and decides that the kid's name is Max Timebuster. #6, the first 96 issue, conspicuously calls the kid just "Timebuster" repeatedly, leaving out "Max" #7. The kid's shirt is changed from purple with an L to green with a T without explanation. The time machine becomes the Time Cruiser. Because this happens, he decides he needs to give himself a name that starts with a T. This apparently has nothing to with the new T on his shirt or anything else so uh. thats. thats how he went from max to tim. There are a couple of things still missing from the picture between here and the beginning of the World Club stuff: Ali/Ingo the monkey needs to be introduced somehow, and it sure would be nice if Tim could stop by the professor and at least let him know that he, like, didn't die or anything (it totally isn't going to happen though). The way these Klick ones are running is 8 pages per theme, and there should be about 20 pages (give or take) of the comic that we're missing. That leaves room for the 6 more Exploriens (and Spyrius?) pages, an 8-page Wild West arc, and ~6 pages for the Time Twisters. Merry Christmas! One more year of me finding more of this stuff around this time and it'll become a holiday tradition.

    Activate LEGO Racers Windowed Mode

LEGO Racers has a built-in windowed mode, meaning you can play non-full screen and have a chat or website open to the side. However, it is a bit tricky to set up. In this tutorial, I will explain to you how to successfully activate the LEGO Racers windowed mode. In order in activate windowed mode, you have to set Windows to use 16-bit bit depth (sometimes known as bit mode or color depth). However, this is hard to near impossible to activate in Windows itself, especially in newer versions of Windows. Therefore, we are using a third-party application called QRes to perform this action. This method has been successfully tested on Windows XP through Windows 7. QRes does not work properly on Windows 8.x, so users of that operating system will have to hold off until a equivalent method is found. Sorry about that! Software Needed LEGO Racers QRes Zip Archive Download Do not get the exe installer due to the lack of 64-bit Windows support! The batch (.bat) script from this tutorial Notepad++, for editing the batch script (optional, Notepad will also work) Directions Locate your LEGO Racers installation in Windows Explorer, but do not close the window until later. C:\Program Files (x86)\LEGO Games\LEGO Racers Your path may be different depending on where you installed the game. Extract QRes, copy the contents of the qres-src1097\qres\cd\sample-cd\qres folder and paste it in a relatively permanent location, such as C:\Program Files (x86)\QRes. Open Notepad++ and copy the contents of the following batch script: @echo off rem Set the location to QRes here, rem you do not need to wrap it in quotes set PathtoQRes=C:\Program Files (x86)\QRes rem Temporarily append QRes to the system PATH set PATH=%PathtoQRes%;%PATH% rem Run QRes with the 16-bit color and restore parameters qres.exe c=16 /R rem Finally, we run Racers using the -window parameter LEGORacers.exe -window Change the value of PathtoQRes the actual location to QRes. There is no need to surround the path in double quotes. This batch script automatically and temporarily appends PathtoQRes to your system PATH, which is the most reliable way to make this work. The magic here is in -window, c=16, and /R, the first being a LEGO Racers parameter that activates windowed mode and the last two are QRes parameters which activate 16-bit color depth and restore the configuration when you close the game, respectively. Save the script with a .bat extension under any file name and move it to your LEGO Racers installation, the folder that contains LEGORacers.exe. Run your batch script. If nothing happens, setting QRes to run with Administrator privileges can help. Otherwise you will need to approve a UAC box and LEGO Racers will load in windowed mode! Go ahead and make a shortcut to your batch script, saving it wherever you want, your Desktop, Start menu/screen, Quick Launch, any place you can easily access it. You can even change it's icon to visually remind you what it goes to. Special thanks to @JrMasterModelBuilder for the >batch script this tutorial is based on.
