Yeah I get what you mean. But compare it to other artist fake names I've seen: Shane Mesa, Jesper Kyd (which I'm pretty sure is his actual name actually), and let's not even talk about popular bands which have completely idiotic name. Plus, it doesn't sound too off from a real name to me, which is the most important thing.

I'm sorry, but I'm all out... ...actually, I don't know about you, but the name "Nick Nuwe" sounds... how do I put this... childish... cheesy, sorta like when you call yourself "Cool boy Ben" or "Sick Sebastion"... or something like that. Now don't get me wrong, I like the idea of the word "Nuwe", meaning and everything, but pairing it to a name just makes it all bland, like getting a nickname in school. I'm not sure what your username should be, but the combination "Nick Nuwe", in my opinion, doesn't work.

I completely agree with you on one hand. On the other, Shadowblaze as a name has zero identity. It's so cheesy and common that it won't do to identify anybody. It's just one step above XxXCav3Lurk3rXxX, which is not what I would like. Now, Nuwe does sound a bit pretentious but I don't care that much about it. In no time you'll become normalized to it like with my older name, and won't treat it as foreign as much as you are now.

To be perfectly blunt, I think Nuwe is being overly dramatic when you're just a composer. It's only music, it's not a strike force dedicated to stealing secret relics I find Shadowblaze perfectly fine, but I'm someone who doesn't like upsetting the status quo for the sake of upsetting the status quo (read: not a traditionalist unless no better alternative is there). Mind you, I have odd opinions on music, its production and uses thereof, but at least you have my data

This is super rad! The new background animation is great too, very pretty.

The point is I don't know what to choose, and I don't know if what I end up choosing will sound good enough. I just want someone to agree on whatever name I decide, I don't want to take a decision completely blindly. The alternative is Nuwe, or strapping that word on top of my pseudo-first-name (which would be Nick).

I don't think a name is of super high value importance, as long as the content is good, people will get to know the name behind the creation(s) regardless of how simple or complex it is. Just go with something that you feel is you and something you don't mind all too much being called.
