    I present for your modding pleasure, LR2DeveloperPatcher! This allows you to run the game with your gamedata extracted, and removes the requirement for a compiled archive. This performs the binary patch documented by JMMB It has a built-in gamedata extractor. This also supports Drome Racers. REQUIRES .NET FRAMEWORK 4.     Drome Racers Model Format

    Well, I have the Drome model format down, and I could do the LI2 format if I had the time and drive. (I haven't tried actually changing files yet, but I can read them all) I'm working on a modding tool for Drome, and I would like to release it as open-source, but most of the code is sloppily thrown together to work as quick as possible. Once I feel like it has some useful features completed (all it has now is model viewing and export, and partial level viewing) I'll publish a release.

    No, MD2s cannot be converted to CCD. You can use MD2s as car parts though. Just add a path to the model in any of the \OBJECTS\BRICKS\UNIQUEBRICKS[WORLD].txt files - you will also need to have a BCD file by it (just copy-paste an existing one and rename it the same as the object name) (make sure it is at the end of a section though and not start otherwise you will mess up the brick list ordering and really screw things up)
