Addictgamer
Mouse: Really? In general: I find it cool...Am starting to do tdist in this. Using a combo of the arttoolkit, terra1, and irrar. It should result in some epic win. Oh, and if anyone wants to, you can send me some models and I can attempt to throw a program together bringing them to life. Pootube the video, and give you the link. No guarantees, but I think it would be fun. Oh, and I could also send you the program so that you can give it a try with your own webcam. Eagle98
Ah, yes, I've seen this before. I've heard they're experimenting it in children's books now, you put on some goggles and headphones and flip the pages with those weird symbols and you can see a 3D image of what the book is telling you. Cyrem
Meh, it's just the same thing the Playstation Eye toy has been doing for years. Now if the 3D image was actually real, standalone from a screen... then that would be something.

Sonic322
I can't wait till this stuff becomes so advanced that we can have full size holograms that would be awesome to on holloween
sciguy
They are working on interactive holograms, only problem is for the light to show up, you need a medium onto which to project the light. For the one I saw, they are using a vapor. If we could find some way to use plain old air as the projection medium, then movie-type holograms could work.
