Hello!, my game wont run on XP and i tried downloading the Microsoft application compability toolkit.

The problem is that when i have found Lego Rock Raiders under applications in the compability administrator, selected it, pressed run, located legoRR.exe and pressed ok, it says:

"The file name does not match with the file being fixed".

Seems like it wants some file called "_INS5576._MP" and i cannot find it!

Any help?

May be the filename is case-sensitive, try renaming it to LEGORR.EXE or something like that.

No luck =/

Is it supposed to look like this? I can't see anything about legoRR.exe in the program.

No, I have LegoRR.exe among the files.

I've copypasted settings to my custom database & saved it - try attachment (File->Open).

I have Vista and LRR runs fine on my machine, but I decided to get the compatibility toolkit because there are some other programs that don't want to run due to 32/64 bit differences.

The toolkit won't install due to incompatibility. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU-

(Error 1722 if you guys know what that is.)

Thanks alot. :) It still wont work though. xD I get sound but nothing else. It complains that some indeo logos codec are missing, and it links me to a site but i have to pay for the indeo logos codec on that site, so i guess that links outdated.

Sorry if this is a dumb question (I'm new)

Why cannot I not download this link?

The attachment system was removed a long time ago, and any attachments that were made before then are broken now. You'll have to ask either the person that uploaded the attachment to upload it again or see if Cyrem backed it up at one point.
