Download that folder.

Unzip.

To install the widget in windows, move test.lua into your install_directory->LuaUi->widgets folder.

In linux, widgets go in /home/USER/.spring/LuaUI/Widgets.

Any folder with the prefix of '.' is automatically made a hidden folder.

- Thanks Acmex

Now, try to test these out.

Install New War mod.

To test the mod: Just try to play a battle with it.

Try both hosting a battle on the server and single player.

To test the widget: Enable it when starting a new game in BA and try to make a unit from a lab.

Does it say anything like "Hello unit blablabla"?

- Status on mod:

Build 4 (v 0.0.1.1) - A test to see if it at least shows up in the mods list.

Download latest version of new war mod here: http://www.rockraidersunited.org/index.php?/files/file/40-spring-new-war-mod-v0011/

Neither of them appear, in the lobby or ingame.

BTW in linux widgets go in /home/USER/.spring/LuaUI/Widgets.

In linux the /home/USER/.DIRNAME functions ALOT like the config/data dirs in windows (C:\Users\USERNAME\My Documents\DIRNAME) Only on linux, any dir with the prefix of "." is hidden automatically ;)

Weird...

I'll try to add some content in and try again...Oh wait, I haven't uploaded the newest one with some stuff filled out.

I'll add to first post when it is ready.

(Sorry for double post)

Updated first post with the new version of New War.

Please try it and see if it appears in the mod list.

Then see if you can start a battle with it.

Have yet to get the widget to work.
