Evilnurn Posted March 23, 2010 Share Posted March 23, 2010 Hey guys. Longtime Lego Lover here. I've got a bunch of stuff on Brickshelf, and I'm a member of Lugnet, BZPower, Peeron and Brickset. I've loved Rock Raiders since it came out. I bought almost every set in the brand, and I loved the game when it came out. I thought it was so fun and so developed, especially compared to the other games Lego made to companion with sets (Alpha Team, etc.). Picked it up Winter 2009 and beat it in 2 weeks straight through. Still a great game. Great strategy, just the right amount of difficulty...it was a lot of fun. I picked it up again recently mostly because I'm a college student and I need to procrastinate on SOMETHING...but it really made me happy to see that this forum exists. So...to start off. I've been having issues with the game, it crashes on Frozen Frenzy pretty much just as I build a Support Station every time. Rock Raiders is just one of those games that never really gets old. as far as crashes go, it could be due to lots of things. back in the day when i played it, on one level all of my rock raiders would suddenly disappear, i'm pretty sure this was just because my computer couldn't handle too many of them. My newer computer runs it fine. if not that, then maybe it's an issue with vista, or something. Rock Raiders has been known to crash randomly, not sure i can help with your specific problem, ask around to see if someone else has seen this. yep yep, welcome to the site! TheDoctor Posted March 23, 2010 Share Posted March 23, 2010 There are so many issues with Frozen Frenzy that I can't even explain them all. First off, it's the first emerge level. Second, it has an odd goal. Third, the hand laser beams might drain all of your energry crystals. A bunch of problems, as you can see. If it's crashing after you try to build a support station, well, you're screwed. On my old, origional install on my computer, it woult crash every time a sonic blaster would go off.
