Addictgamer
My favorite types of games are those where you just do whatever you want. Like in DF, and rpgwo. Those are the only two of that kind that I know. Do you guys know of any games that do this kind of thing? Yes, Google fails...so...Anyone? Can be rpg, fp, fps, rts, whatever. Free, open source, commercial, don't care. Member's list: Gmod (Not what I'm looking for, but counts) N8 (Not what I'm looking for, but counts) Runescape (I don't think this counts...doesn't feel freeform) Improbable Island (Wha??? Don't think it's what I'm looking for... Again, I say it counts.) Phun (I guess...Closer to what I want...) Golems (Read Phun's entry.) Lego Creator (Oh ya, getting warm.) Lego Universe (Hmm...I guess...Ya...kind of...) Fallout 2, and 3 (Well...fallout 2 and 3 count...) The Elder Scrolls. (It is a bit closer than fallout 3...Although, here, I am referring to Morrowind and Oblivion iv specifically. And any other freeform games in this series.) The mana world (It counts, and, is as close as f3 and elder scrolls.) World of Warcraft (Same as the mana world)

Addictgamer
That's closer...But, still... Everyone, let your ideas rip! As long as it's freeform/sandbox.
TheDoctor
YES. PHUUUUUUUUUN. And in addicts case Golems mebe.
HarryControl
You don't qualify Gmod as a sandbox type of game? well, maybe I would understand your point of view if I tried DF, and rpgwo. xD
Lair
Some levels of LEGO Rock Raiders: Return to Planet U No seriously.
Addictgamer
I do classify it as sandbox, but not the type I'm looking for. But I asked for sandbox/freeform, so list any that are.
Acmex
I suppose Lego Creator could be classed as this.
TheDoctor
Oh hey I forgot about Lego Universe.
Addictgamer
Lego creator is the closest so far. :D
TheEPICtrainrider
Fallout 3. Now add it.
Addictgamer
Well, fallout series still isn't really what I am looking for... But, again, it counts.
Goorge
Somthing like Elder scroll? Morrowind it is free to do what you whant but a bit to big. If you get bord of the game try the map editor.
Addictgamer
I don't have Morrowind, but I have Oblivion IV. Yes, an excellent example of a freeform game. Although, not quite what I am looking for. But, of course, I asked for sandbox/freeform games, so this counts.
TheDoctor
THE MANA WORLD. Oh, and World of Warcraft lol.
Addictgamer
TMW and WOW...Meh...Still staying away from what I'm looking for But, again, they are kind of what I'm looking for and of course they count.
TheEPICtrainrider
Then tell us what you want. Now.
Addictgamer
I have only seen 2 of those games in my life. So, I decided to make the topic on freeform/sandbox games instead. If you want to know the type I'm looking for anyway, DF and RPGWO are 2 perfect examples. DF adventure mode to be more specific there. Although, I am referring to the way it will be when done. Which includes everything rpgwo does.
