Fluffy Cupcake
For those of you that just jump in here, look at the subforum first. Thank you. Is there a way to have your own music for this game. I know you can replace the music with Drome Racers music. So is there a way known yet?
JrMasterModelBuilder
I believe they are just MPEG files with silly extensions, though someone thought they were in another format.

Isn't mpeg a video format? Anyway I exported a mpeg file (with a movie editing program) that had just sound and when I replaced there was no sound. TheDoctor
Ask TheDoctor. Where did that cone from? Isn't, "Ask Addict/mouse/cirevam/sciguy/Cyrem"? Why in the world would I he the one to answer that? Well, answering my own question, see my next reply. I'm not sure if 1, you even know there the music files are, 2, you know which files they are, and 3, if the file extension is a random one, not like ogg, mp3, wav, etc…. If you can post one of the files here, I may be able to figure out what it really is. I require more knowelge to help you.
Lair
Insert another disk with different music and change the track numbers in the cfg. Until Anonymouse makes a tutorial on npl music.

Isn't it simple enough. LEGO Racers 2\game data\music 2, you know which files they are,Which files what are? I know the songs have extensions from 1-5 and 3, if the file extension is a random one, not like ogg, mp3, wav, etc…. Insert another disk with different music and change the track numbers in the cfg. LR2 doesn't have a cfg file, well, not that I know of at least. Lair
oh I didn't see that this wasn't LRR... Then yes it is easyish to change. They are mpg files in disguise. files with a .1 extension are track intro. Files .2 are track music. Files .3 Are boss intro. Files .4 are Boss music. Files. .5 are a copy of Files .

Files. .5 are a copy of Files .1 Yes I know what each are because I have turned them all to wave before, but when I trying making my own mpeg file and then changing the file extension to say, 1 and replace it with a song then for some reason my file would fail and there would be no music. bartvbl
I believe they are just MPEG files with silly extensions, though someone thought they were in another format. nope. To play the music, simply rename the extensions to .wav BUT: ONLY do this to a backup of the files. The originals MUST have their original extensions! It also works for the drome racers game music. Seems like you just need to export music as a .mpg, then rename it to .1/2/3/4/5, then test it. Try it, then post here. IF you already did that, then try other formats.
