Some questions: 1 - I'll take a look myself when I try your mod, but can you see any immediate reasons why the area was scrapped (Camera glitches, pepper getting stuck, ect)? 2 - So there is also a floating pyramid or something? Weird. Got any idea why it's there? 3 - I recently made a quick YouTube video showing the area - you can see it here: (no need to quote video) I showed some of the screenshots you took in the video (I gave credit to you of course and I'm gonna add an annotation with a link to your channel). Is this OK with you? It's not like I'm taking any credit for them. 1. Nope I don't get stuck, no camera problems or any of that stuff. 2. Actually there is two pyramids in the back. I haven't taken the time to think about why it they are there. Decoration probably, but when you get to the distance you need to see them from normal ground they are in the distant fog. 3. What you did with the video is perfectly fine. I don't mind people showing my stuff as long as it is for a good purpose. :)

No, its facing the right way out, it just looks a little funny in the picture because I scaled it down in my 3D modeling program so it would fit in the viewports better. Don't worry, the unscaled version looks better.

Baz
I loved lego island 2 for all its exploits, particularly on the desert levels. I remember that particular spot and tried my hardest to get in there but without luck. My favorite was getting on top of the trees in the jungle area. When you went over to the tribal people area before it was unlocked, when you talked to them, they wouldn't say anything.

Yup, thank you, and, the name of the collision file for the boundary is land_collision.col. I think they really did build every building on Lego island brick by brick because actually I removed some bricks from peppers house in a text file of pepper's house located in the BrickMorph.bob/bod file, and at the begging of the game where you get bricks for pepper's house some of the bricks were missing. Though when the model is there to last forever it isn't like that anymore. Probably because it is just a model then because it doesn't have to get destructed or constructed. Also I found that the meshes of bricks are in Bricks.bob/bod or in places they are used in. Like the people of Lego Island are located in the Lego Island file. People of Castle Island in the Castle Island file and etc. And now time for some pics of what I have been up to. Reveal hidden contents I took the collision of the bridge sides off and I was able to do this. I also decided to change the old loading screen look. I got a Johnny Thunder looking hat, yay! ...ok for some reason it looks like I changed Pepper's face when I didn't. Or maybe it is just me. Edit: I have pictures of something else to show, but I will only post after someone else does. off topic Reveal hidden contents SEGATENDO FOR THE EPIC WIN on topic Reveal hidden contents hmm how did you do that? I would like to know. All msh editors/viewers I found were for different games or they didn't work with the LI2 files. Also, I never got to see your picture and would like to see one. legomoe
Hay, an update! I've figured out how the .msh files map their textures! heres an image of the coffin door from Adventures Island: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomoegreeniii/LEGO-Island-2/coffin_door.png I've also discovered that different textures are assigned according to model groups. But for the life of my, I cant figure out how the game tells what textures to use. For the screenshot, i had to manually pick out and assign the right textures, and there doesn't seem to be any references in the models files about what textures they are supposed to use. I don't currently have a windows version of the .msh converter compiled, but heres the source code, in case anyone reading this can make use of it. http://www.mediafire.com/file/9s21rk47ao8h903/msh_src.zip Legomoe

But if .obj format wont work, have a look at this: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/item?siteID=123112&id=10775855 Thats the link to the official Autodesk FBX converter page, which it looks like is unity's main import file type, I think you'll want the FBX Converter about half way down the page. And just give me a couple of days and I'll get a compiler set up on my windows machine and upload a working copy of the converter. Legomoe
