Storm
I believe epic already created this topic. This topic is due for deletion certian doom. Please exacualte the vicinity. You know that the box is going to be a movie... Right? I believe you don't understand. The thing in the box is nothing. It's so simple and so crazy because everyone would think there's something in the box and nothing is in it, and Technically, Nothing is something. Get my point? Cirevam
Historically, there has been much dispute over whether such a thing as a vacuum can exist. Ancient Greek philosophers did not like to admit the existence of a vacuum, asking themselves "how can 'nothing' be something?". Plato found the idea of a vacuum inconceivable. He believed that all physical things were instantiations of an abstract Platonic ideal, and he could not conceive of an "ideal" form of a vacuum. Similarly, Aristotle considered the creation of a vacuum impossible — nothing could not be something. Later Greek philosophers thought that a vacuum could exist outside the cosmos, but not within it. Hero of Alexandria was the first to challenge this belief in the first century AD, but his attempts to create an artificial vacuum failed.
RockmoddeR
The box is just a white box. Nothing else, nothing more. It's only there to make you thin there's something there, and is thus NOTHING. The box is a lie...
aLPHA
*facepalm* It's a theory that and object is not there unless it is seen, or given any direct contact of the sort. For example, I have two coins in a box. I don't know what coin is what or if anything is in the box unless it is tested, AKA shaking the box or actually looking in it. Also, the identity of the coins is unknown until both are seen. The unknown state of them means they could be switching back and forth in identity until their identity is proven. Theory I read about. This also is true with alternate universes. Pretend that "The Box" in this universe is empty, as we all suppose. Now, when someone looks into the box to see if it is empty or not, all the boxes in the other universes are either given, or subtracted an object. This means that if an object is in our box, then a box somewhere else will lack that object, or be given a different object. Same is true if our box is empty. The other box will either lose an object, or gain one.
Lair
First it was The Line, then The Square, then The Box, soon upgraded to The Tesseract.
