Map Loading Issue

I've never had this before, but I have a custom level 1 and a custom level 2. Now level 1 usually loads fine with no problems, however if click 'start game' and click on level 2 the game will crash after the level loads. But wait! the weird thing is if I start level 2 after I have played any other level, it loads without any problems. I've been up and down the CFG looking for a problem and I've even re-modded a fresh copy to see if it would happen again... and it did.

Any ideas on things I could check? (The map only uses High, Surf, Dugg and Cror and the OL works fine.)

Huh... I'm going with .exe glitch from a new level. *knows very little about programs*

I might have possibly found it, the problem is sourced right back to a bug in MC with map sizes. I still have to double check though, as Level 1 has decided to crash now that level 2 is working.

Anonymouse

Maybe the CFG entries need to be in the right order? (Any references in LevelLink need to be already defined?)

Strange. All of my custom levels are failing... Let me try something...

Nope... Just random level fails for me...

Try to get the same effect on level 3 (or... 05)

Again: NextLevel is THE NEXT LEVEL THAT IS IN THE CFG

LevelLinks is all levels unlocked when that level is won.

I have not modified the level links so this shouldn't matter. Back when I did have the problem if I changed Level02 to Level05, it worked...

However as I said, Level 2 is now working... level 1 has randomly stopping now. But as I said before this might have something to do with the problem I mentioned before, so please wait till I have finished testing.

Ok I applied it to the first level which seemed to reduce it but did not fix it. However I found something else, by improving the way it exports the OL files to fit a little better with RR's standards, It seems I've completely eradicated the problem. Since re-exporting the OL files with the new definitions neither levels have crashed on loading.

So it was good that the maps didn't work in the begining as it helped me to find and fix 3 problems.
