MainframeMaggot14
Hello, after i found this site and watched an walk-throe of the Baz mod on youtube and i decided to try it out myself, followed the instructions and used the missing ddl file and runs the game in compatibility mode for windows 2000, and in 640x480 resolution. The game seem to run ok i gausses, (there is a bug where all lego rock raiders dissepears if i build an support station on tiled ground, but i guasses i can live with it.) but when i build an Super Teleporter the game instantly crashes, no matter where i build it. I haven't messed with the graphic settings or anything and i run the game in standard mode, (not Advanced.) so do you guys got any ideas how to solve it? _____________________________________ Operating System MS Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit SP2 CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz Kentsfield 65nm Technology RAM 4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 399MHz 5-5-5-18 Motherboard ASUSTeK Computer INC. Cirevam
I'm having the same problem with my mod. I've tried copying the vanilla AE and CFG entries, put the original models and animations back in, everything directly related to the building, and it still doesn't work. I don't know if it has something to do with the vehicles but I seriously doubt it does since I can add them into the OL without crashing.
Acmex
Number of RRs at the time of the crash, building number, basically anything that actually could, even if just in theroy, affect the game would be nice. Modern computers shouldn't have much of a problem running it in the first place; the only way I would think problems could arise is if you have too much RAM/Clock, but that shouldn't cause a crash. Also, have you tested to see if this A) Happens on other levels and B) repeats every time?

Tool Store [uP1] (and 2) Teleport Pad [uP1] (and 2) Power Station [uP1] Support Station [uP1] (and 2) 1 and up Energy roads Also tried building a upgrade station and harbor before making a super teleporter, with the same crash. I have only tested on the first mission due to i haven't been able to get further due to the bug, but at least i can tell its not affected by the numbers of buildings/rock raiders/vehicles, but rather when all material for it is collected on the spot and when the entire building shall spawn, they-fore i think it might a problem with its script or models. But then again, never looked into the game files so no idea. Oh, and i run the XP fixed version from 2001.

Exkajer
Sorry for refreshing old topic, but I may help someone else. The possible solution is that there are two conflicted informations, and game dont know what to do. E.g. You added program to emerge slimey slugs, but you didnt added slimey slug holes on level. I dont know if its a true reason of this bug, but it worked for me. McJobless
