LEGO Rock Raiders Game Freeze

I have the problem when i play rock raiders the game freeze.

I have reinstal the game and launch it in 98/95 mode but ever the same.

Have anyone a idea??

Does it crash shortly?

If so, that's normal.

Does it stay frozen or unfreeze?

If so, you may have too many rock raiders.

It freeze with 3-20 Rock raiders thats different

It it launches, you can get to the main menu, you can choose a level, the level starts, you can play, and THEN the game freezes? Is that right?

Was there something that you did and it froze, like did you click a button to teleport something down, and then it freezes, or does it do it randomly. Sometimes when you click something, or an "event" happens, the game does something weird, usually crashing.

Someone add that to the list of RR glitches.

If reinstalling the game didn't fix it....ummm... I don't know what to tell you. It might be the disk, some computer component/setting... I don't know.

One last thing, does the whole game freeze, or can you still hear the music? If you can still hear the music... it might be your graphics card, or something else that I don't know.

The fact that it uses Directx 6 was made in 1999 don't really mix well with new machines. I think most of the problems are caused by incompatibility with graphics cards.

Now he has the classic Frozen Frenzy crash but it otherwise works fine. I'm wondering whether the Frozen Frenzy problem might have something to do with the NPL file.

CLGen allows you to select a different videocard. Maybe one was more compatible than the other.

yeah my Rock Raiders game is freezing up too. I start a level then it freezes for 2 secs then it goes back to normal for 3 secs then it freezes again and then goes back to normal and so it goes on.
