Hey everyone. I know these are noob questions, but please don't make fun of me. How do you load and unload a vehicle? And what's the use of the lasers? I've been playing this game on and off since I was eight, and I still can't figure this out. Any help would be appreciated. ;)

Loading and unloading, as far as I know, are only for transporting smaller vehicles (in the unmodded game, only the Cargo Carrier is capable of this.). Move a Cargo Carrier so it's facing the shore, put a small vehicle directly in front of it, and select "Load Vehicle" in the Cargo Carrier's menu.

Lasers are for mining (but suck at it) and can be used for manual defense. To use one, click on the unit with the laser twice (so the selection border becomes red). Then click wherever you want to fire. To exit the firing mode, click on the unit again. Note that firing a laser uses up energy crystals.

Hope this helps! :)

Please don't say that lasers can be used for defence. D: I tried that once recently, almost melted my Support Station. Also destroyed some Power Paths. And all that time I spent shooting, I hit a rock monster and slimy slug about twice. xD

Talking about this, is it possible to add a first person view to the laser? Like when you walk as a raider or in a car? That would help the defence targeting A LOT.

Also add a HUD to it! :D That would be awesome!

1) Too bad, they can be used for defense. I don't know how you accidentally blasted half of your base, but I can tell you that aiming a little past the thing you're trying to hit helps.

2) Interestingly enough, the Mining Laser actually has 1st and 2nd-person camera nulls. I don't know if it's possible to give it manual control since Tracker is tied into the mouse as far as I know, but it was certainly considered at some point during development.

Wow, I'm disappointed. That answers my questions! I kept trying to use a Small Digger for loading. I'm so glad you helped! I turn 3 hour missions to 30 minute missions now. ;)
