DeactivatedAccount
Right, ive been wanting to do this for ages. And i know it will work. But i need help. Simply, most old games that u put on vista there movies are removed, but there not removed. They remove an codex so vista cant give them video. From this i figured out all i haft to do is replace the files that dont work, with files the same name but that will play on vista. So i have downloaded all the RR movies from youtube (Thank you RockRaider13) and all i need to do is rename them, convert them in AVI (Which i have done) and go. Unfortnatly. My history of Frakking up games is legendary. And to avoid this when it comes to modding, i use Rock Raidesr standered, and play the proper game using Rock Raiders Enhanced. When i go into the AVI file. Something grabbed me. It called 'Sandwich'... Now, this file is frekin random. Because it is needed for the Main menu animations. Ah, i stopped there. I need an list of all the ingame moves from an XP, or 98 RR game were the intros play. Then i will replace them. Why? Becuase other than 'Sandwich' the rest are called 'pb - number'. If i was to delet an file used in the Main Menu animations, and then replace that with an ingame cinimatic, god knows what will happen. So help me out, give me an list of movie files, so i can replace them. Becuase i realy like the menu cinimatics, and knowing my track record of frakking up games. I dont want to frak up RR. Help. Cirevam
I have absolutely no problem with the movies on Vista... 64-bit Vista, at that. But I'll try to help. Well, you could look in Rock Raiders\Data\AVI to find some movies. I don't know if that's all of them, but sandwich.flh is in there. You also forgot that the other main menu movies are not named "pb#.flh", but instead are Claser, Rocky, Slug, Struck, etc. At least, I ashume that's what those files are. Lair
It is the codec. Vist recignizes AVI as a file, but it cant play it at all. When you open it it says the file is corrupted. There is a codec that allows Vista to play it, which allows LRR to play it. Or are youmeaning something else? >_>

RockRaider
(Thank you RockRaider13) Ya welcome. ^^ Whatever you're looking for in terms of codecs, you should be able to get it from here. If you're missing something K-Lite generally fixes it. At least that's what I've found in my experience.
Lair
So i have downloaded all the RR movies from youtube (Thank you RockRaider13) and all i need to do is rename them, convert them in AVI (Which i have done) and go. Why do you have to do this? Just put the wmv files in there and change the cfg to say (for example) Avi/slugs2.wmv instead of Avi/slugs2.avi
LukeFace93
Sorry I think I'm having a similar problem to the guy who started this thread but I'm lost. The music and animations in my Lego RR won't play at all. Is it necessary to download a codec from K-Lite? If so where does this need to go in my system folder? Cirevam
I'm guessing he means the menu/level music and the movies. If they're not even attempting to play, e.g. you're not even getting a black screen, then you're probably playing without the disk in your computer. Give us more details and we can try to help.
