Nishliau
Ever wonder how in LRR how the water, and lava, and pretty much everything is in the forms of perfect 90° angle? Even in other games too.
Cirevam
Yes. It's called "devs got lazy and didn't do to the water and lava that they did to the power paths." I now have an idea for new power paths.
Nishliau
No, it's not just that, when you drill out a wall, it falls as a perfect angle. EVERY TIME! Other games too. Like Pokemon, how the ocean and other water sources are perfect lines.
PWNZOR
It's a 1999 game, made with pretty low graphics. Whaddya expect? 3-D walls that make perfect curvatures, with randomly drawn pieces of ore, and lava that erodes using a particle system? I mean, seriously. Cyrem
The game is based upon a grid style, in order for the game to look right with this, all the graphics will need angles. I quite admire grid based games, they always maintain a clean look. Especially from a developer point of view, grid based are a lot less problematic. Grid games are also make path finding easier to develop.
Nishliau
I know that, the game is old. I was just trying to make a humorous point.
Addictgamer
It is quite annoying to me. I wish it would remain grid based, yet be more detailed. I'm going to see what I can do with that in ORR-C...
PWNZOR
If anything, try at least make diagonals for the things; diagonal paths, diagonal walls, and whatnot.
