rock raider 3257
hi i'm new to this sight and need some help like how to use map creator how to get mods from this sight :doc: and much much more!
TheDoctor
I see you've found our smilies. Welcome. I'm going to assume you are not a native English speaker due to the misuse of the word "sight". The word you're looking for is "site". It's ok. We have a lot of non-native English speakers here. Let's guess, either Swedish, Dutch, or German? I'm not going to bother with my copypasta greeting this time, I can't be bothered to find it. Now, before you do anything modding related, you have to extract the wad files. If I were on my computer, I would post a link, but alas, I am on my crappy itouch. The map creator is a tool for creating maps for RR (duh), but you need 5 posts (it was 5 last time I checked) before you can download anything from here. Mods can be either cfg edits (replacing text in the cfg file) or file replacements, which most mods are. The creators of these mods give you the intructions in the topic/download page. We are a kind bunch of people, so just ask around if you need any help. Edit: Almost forgot, awesom [sic] is spelled with e at the end. Awesome. Addictgamer
Hello, and welcome to the site! If I remember correctly, there's a tutorial involving maps. although the one I remember is probably outdated. Look around a bit, I hope you'll find what you need. Matt
hey i am from new Zealand Yay for another Kiwi! Welcome to the site anyway. I'm the only other Kiwi as far as I know... Just have an explore round the modding section. There are various tutorials and things that may be a bit out of date, but I think people are working on better, more updated ones. Just extract your WADs if you haven't already, and start experimenting! ~Matt
