Just randomly found the desire to play the game, and then came across this place after searching for some way to mod the game to how I wanted to play it. They'll just do completely random things and make you wonder....things I model things (I'm known for making the helmets for the Rock Raiders). Cirevam is a better modeler, however; but he has a different way of doing things than I do. He also does things with animations, which I think I'm going to start to learn soon. Just ask around, and we'll help you. But, don't turn into a spammer, or you'll have the mods on your back (Cyrem is the site owner, Cirevam and Addictgamer are global mods). TL;DR: HI!!! Speaking as a moderator at other forums I know full well how irritating it is too clean up some tool's posts containing utter dribble. To PWNZOR, you should definitely get into learning everything and anything you can. Nothing better than widening your abilities to mod (I'm assuming that's what you'll use it for) and of course just widening your skills in general is always useful. Those different ways would include NOT using Ldraw and making everything myself. "Better" is relative in the sense that most of the other modelers here don't make their own stuff most of the time, so there's not much to compare to mine. Light cones though, that's neat and I wouldn't have been able to do that without much pain. But wait, this man types in full sentences and is generally coherent. Could it be... You are an intellectual, yes? Being able to extract the WADs and install some mods without making a topic about it would only further cement the point. Man, you have no idea how many people couldn't install a simple patch for a custom vehicle. Please please PLEASE tell me you are competent enough to know how to properly troubleshoot things if they don't work the first time, at the very least being able to say more than "it doesn't work."
