TheEPICtrainrider
Why don't the rock raiders build a bridge rivers of water and lava?
Addictgamer
Do you mean over?
Cirevam
The PSX version had hovering platforms that could take one raider at a time but only moved in a pattern. Well, you could cheat and "build" a bridge by modifying the level map so that there's a way to get across.
TheEPICtrainrider
yea but, If rockraiders can make teleport pads and stuff, why can't they just build bridges over water and lava. Game flaw. :P
Cid SilverWing
I'm certain it would be more efficient to just build teleport pads on both sides of the river in question.
Sonic322
how would that be more efficient Cid?
Cid SilverWing
how would that be more efficient Cid? Bridges are easily collapsed by floods and monsters. Teleport pads guarantee quicker and safer passage over longer distances.
Sonic322
You do understand that a telaport pad telaports the raiders down to the planet and not between places right?

Sonic322
why does everyone call the Playstation the PSX, the Playstation is the first one, not the tenth X = 10 anywho, the bridge idea is good
Shadow322
Oh I get it now. Ya why is that, a PSX, thats not even made yet, for now...
Anonymouse
PSX is simply another shorthand for "Playstation". It's got NOTHING to do with roman numerals (or any numbering system for that matter). Kinda like PlayStation X, where X is just a placeholder for a number/letter. PSX is just general. It can mean PS1, PS2, PS3 or PSP. Whatever. Anyway, I think the reason why bridges weren't implemented is that it KILLS GAMEPLAY. :P
Shadow322
Kills gameplay? Ya thats what alot of ideas do to the game, like the vehicle idea I had, the Magma Mover. Or like that mine cart. And the only point of a brige would be to mine walls that are on the ege of a river.
Retsnom Kcor
Actually, bridges could also be used for other things too, such as rescuing stranded Rock Raiders on islands or transporting vehicles to the other side of a river/ lake. They would also be a somewhat effective weapon for dropping on Rock Monsters. My point being that they possess several uses.
TheEPICtrainrider
Anyway, I think the reason why bridges weren't implemented is that it KILLS GAMEPLAY. Well, if we could mod bridges in (which we can't) they wouldn't be cheap, it would cost something like... 23 ore just for one section. (if you want to preserve game play)
Eagle98
Yes...and probably need some sort of vehicle for construction. (Wait...OpenRR! I'll jot this down...Water...bridge...)
Joe9412
lol this is a good idea but i think LRR team did a good enough job. Theres eiether going to be a pathway around it or just going to have to fly.
