This is my attempt at a RRU Boatmurderded topic. I'll try to keep this post as updated as possible. In the case that I can't get on RRU, I hereby give addict full permission to update this post as needed if I can't get to it in a timely fashion. SO, let's get started. STATUS: SOMEONE'S TURN RULES: I don't really care what the original rules were, I'll remake them. They might be the same, but whatever. Each turn is one season. From when the save is posted, you have ten days to play. If the season doesn't arrive before then (for whatever reason), the next player can decide if he takes it then or lets you run until the next season. If you don't DL your turn save within 5 days, the next person gets to choose if he wants to wait, or steal it for the remainder of your turn and then theirs. No intentionally killing the fort. I don't expect this to be a problem. You are entitled two dorfs to name as your own. On your turn, you have free reign over the fort. ABSOLUTELY NO HAX. Managers are allowed, but no cheating. Things like DF Therapist is ok, but nothings like DFHack. Basically anything that doesn't cheat for you is fine. You HAVE to use the DF folder I provide for you. I want this to be as non-screwupable as possible. Total crap. Just don't use a folder with all the options mixed up. No changing things like weather, economy, temperature... etc. You CAN change fps and g_fps though. No mods. Hence the reason for the DF folder I'm providing. You do need to write a report for your turn. It doesn't have to explain every single detail, but at least anything notable happening should go in it. And of course, acts of dwarven stupidity. Stupid. Screw it. No digging in addict's territory. He does that in his turn. No accidental floods of magma or water. Floods of blood are allowed as long as it ain't from our population. No demons. That means don't breach hell. Leave adamantine digging to addictgamer, acmex, and TheDoctor. You must label levers. And not just any random garbage you made up, but something useful. addictgamer is 1, acmex is 2, TheDoctor is 3. Every dwarf has a number in their name or profession, they belong to the corresponding player. No one, except addictgamer, acmex, and TheDoctor, may name a dwarf or their custom profession. DF FOLDERS: It's dangerous to go alone. Take this. 31.14 will be used. BOATMURDERDED - WINDOWS 31.14 BOATMURDERDED - LINUX 31.14 SAVES: Saves will go here for now. I might move this to the top of the post if I see it fit. Current save is now the name of current turn person. DF Backup 1 - Post embark PLAYERS: List of who's playing. Derp. Post something along the lines of "I WANT TO PLAY" if you want to play. TheDoctor addictgamer Acmex OTHER STUFF: Other stuff that doesn't really go anywhere else. Jumbo Files is what I'll be using to host the files with. Both addict and myself will keep backups just because. I set it up to use the mayday font and tileset. I suggest you leave it on if you want to post screenshots. Be warned that we may bother you to take your turn. UPLOADING: I suggest you make a Jumbo Files account. It only takes a few minutes. Step up and claim 'em now, folks. Migrants came. I ignored them. Migrants were usefull. I added Dining hall && Hospital and in the process messed up addicts workshop layout. Yay. Also added lever to drawbridge. Doesn't need a label since IT'S THE SINGLE MOST OBVIOUS THING IN THE ENTIRE SAVE. Since I really don't think anyone else cares, I'll just send it to doc tomorrow and he can upload it while playing. Have fun with your nice, 3 FPS. Yay migrants. Sure are. I dug out those rooms just because, so you didn't mess up anything. I added labels anyway. lol. Anyway, I polished up HQ and worked on my fort's entrance. Sorry, I got carried away mining the cobaltite. Also, random thing: got like 100 of those. Caught a few in my traps too. I plan on making huge fields of traps all over the map. I dug straight down 120+ z levels and crossed the magma ocean, breached hell, and yet no caverns were to be seen. Maybe if I use reveal, I would find out otherwise...but...That would ruin the drama and suspense sorta... EDIT: Dug one tile north of the adamantine find and I found the caverns. Woot! Demons for the arena! Wait, I think they can avoid cage traps...darn...Guess I'll have to settle with 'regular' cavern dwellers. EDIT2: Doc, you forgot to update it to say that it's acmex's turn.
