Fallout 3:

Well, maybe no one, but it sure is weird to ME at least. O_O

Try this on for size:

I'm playing the Mothership Zeta DLC, was heading outside of the alien spacecraft (in space), and at first (and here's what I did first and foremost), I equipped the Spacesuit in the Engineering Core... I switch to 3rd Person View, and see that my Lincoln Hat is still equipped for some strange reason... I just decided to ignore it, switched back to 1st Person... so I went into the Airlock, decompressed the chamber to the Space Walk (and looted of course), got outside into space, and switched to 3rd Person... suddenly I realize that I'm in my underwear with my Lincoln Hat on... and I couldn't do anything to unequip the Lincoln Hat because the menu's disabled out in space for that part.

So here I am just walkin' around in mah undies and my Lincoln Hat sittin' proudly on teh head... yeah... I think my char's been drinking too much alcohol and has absolutly gone into a coma, I'm just denying the fact that this is real. >.>

Some piccies:

Oh, and go ahead and post your weirdest moments in Fallout 3 if ya want to, I'm sure we all want to share our priceless and face-palmic moments in a post-apocalyptic world. o)

I don't have Fallout, but I do have some comments.

Oh my lord that a lot of bloom. It's almost as if your character is phosphorescent. GRiD was way worse in that category though. Perhaps it's related to the alcohol...

there's this one part in the tunnels where you can find these leopard print pajamas called 'naughty nightwear'

and then this guy runs up to you and says 'give me the naughty nightwear!'

you can give it to him

or convince him it's yours

or kill him

whatever

it's not a glitch, i just thought it was odd and funny.

Thats some glitch.

I only have fallotu 2... Saw a glitchin there though, my character looked like one of those scorpions after i loaded a save in the temple of trails. I quit, and reloaded. My character loaded just fine this time.

Actually that's HDR (supposedly) and yes, it is a lot Bloom if your in space with the full sun shining on you in the background >.>

Remember that space is black, and you should also take into consideration of the Flood Beams and lights on the Spacecraft... they're much brighter in space than down here on Earth. :)

I found Lug-Nut's brother in the La Maison Beauregard Hotel in Georgetown East... his name is Lag-Bolts, and he apparently has All-Nighter Nightwear in a suitcase if you kill him and get his loot, though I would think he's in DLC03 (Broken Steel) as he had a Heavy Incinerator equipped. >.>

What. Next thing you know there'll be a 'Naughty Nightwear Model' perk.

Actually that's HDR

Thank you, that's what I was trying to call it. I was thinking "HDL? No, that's not right..." Anyways, the HDR is only being applied to the player character and not to the outside of the ship/station, so it looks weird. Maybe I'm just used to not seeing it since I turn it off whenever I can because I like to look at distinct objects and not blobs of light. And over-exaggeration, yes, but in some cases it's justified.

By the way, another example of horrible HDR? Burnout Paradise around midnight. Your car literally glows and none of the other cars do. Not even competitor cars, and it still glows in the caves in White Mountain. This is why I match the in-game time to local time, so I don't have to deal with that.

(On Shirt: "Big Brother is watching you.")

Yes he is. :|

Fallout 3 mod called FOOK2 with a LOT of improvements with new models and textures... combined with WMK (Weapon Mod Kits) it's pretty cool, even though you have to get a Compatibility Patch for both of them.

Dang, we should give that gun to the RR's.

Eat hard-steel BULLETS Rock Monsters!

Though, I can't exactly control the aim right now, as I need Power Armor to do so... this would look much more powerful handheld in RL, if it wasn't attached to a Guardian APC. >_>

This... This gentlemen and ladies... is a the most unholy beast to ever be manufactured (except for the .50cal AP Sniper Rifle in Mercs 2, that one is awesome in penetrating any light armored vehicles)... this ungodly weapon is called a *checks name in-game* Barrett M82A3 Silenced Rifle (Sniper Rifle that is)... if it weren't silenced, it could probably take down a Super Mutant Behemoth in several shots. Oh, and it fires 14mm rounds apparently...

O_O

It's also almost as tall as my character too!

I should be getting Fallout 3 by the 15th. Of course... my bioshock 2 didn't come for almost a week after the date they said it would come....

Awesome. You'll also have to get FO:New Vegas when it comes out too.

I'm considering that, but I'm kinda worried game-play wise, will they stick to the Here's-one-quest-but -you-can-put-it-off-as-long-as-you-effing-want? But if my mother gets a coupon for Amazon.com I'm getting it. Hands down.

The thing I really want to know about is how hard is the GNR quest. Because I'm going on that next.

BTW: to anyone who has not completed the Wasteland Survival guide yet, make sure you have a Science of 50 before going into the Robot place, got there and wasted all my Pulse 'nades getting out because I couldn't hack the terminal. I still have one left though!

Also, While completing 'Waters of Life' I saw the weirdest glitch. *spoilers*

I had told Dogmeat to wait in front of Rivet City while I go kick Enclave [Please Talk Properly], as I usually do because his NPC has a tendency to jump into battle and will block doorways.

But while in the pipes, I told the science team to wait at a certain location, while I go kill some ghouls. When I came back, I looked in the hallway where we had came from, and there was a dog there...

Yes, Dogmeat had glitched his way from Rivet City to the Tunnels, so I told him to follow me past the ghouls and to the citadel.

Oh and you know that part where the guy with the flamer torched the horde of ghouls? Guess who jumped into the fire.* Stupid Mutt.

Yes he survived, but now I keep him at my house in Megaton.
