Water Lot Of Fun

I'm unsure as to why my guide isn't available anymore on the new (this one) RRU forum, but anyway, in my guide I mentioned about how Water Lot of Fun wants you to build a base and then ferry junk to the other side of the river. However, there is a much simpler way to complete this mission. I'll just quote it for simplicity.

...All your 15 ECs are on this island believe it or not...just drill everything...don't drill the wall furthest west from your starting point because it'll open up that big cavern that goes to the Docks.

So yea, I just wanted to mention that since I didn't see it posted here or on the wiki. ^^

In my video walkthrough (and probably in my text guide as well) I showed how you don't need to get to the other side at all. A link to my walkthroughs is posted in this subforum, though I'll have to agree that there isn't any actual documentation on the forum that says "hey, no need to go to the other side" but I think the reasoning behind that is that hardly anyone ever goes to the other side unless they do it on purpose.

Did you try looking for it?

It would have been in this forum if it was here, it's probably back over at the old forum.

Yup.

There isn't any wall on the far west to open up those tunnels. They can only be accessed by crossing the river and drilling there, thus destroying the solid rock and making the tunnel connect to the other side.

You suck. :P

I can't test it myself so I'll have to trust that you have. And in that case, crap, I've had an error in my guide since day one that no one else caught until now. >.>

  • 2 weeks later...

Sort of on-topic question: how do you guys determine the cardinal directions in the game? You know, north and south, east and west. It's not like there's a compass... or is there?
