Addictgamer
I need some one to make the graphics for walls for my overhaul. Orthoclase. Granite. Mudstone. Shale. Limestone. Clay Loam. Thanks in advance! Oh, I'd also like the floor and rubble tiles redone. Something better than RR...Not necessary, but I'd like it.
Amauros
Orthoclase and clay loam?? I'll have to look those up...
Amauros
Well I've got a sample of mudstone for you. This is photoshopped to work ingame so that the lines will match up (assuming the ground is level of course).

I'll test it in-game in a bit...(I assume "This is photoshopped to work ingame" implies that I can test it in-game.) Thanks!
Amauros
It needs to be converted to .bmp, .bmp isn't a supported image type in the gallery. -.-
Addictgamer
It needs to be converted to .bmp, .bmp isn't a supported image type in the gallery. Ya, I know that much. Here's the product in-game: Thanks!
Amauros
Wow, you really can't tell where the tiles meet lol. Maybe I can reduce the waviness of it...
Addictgamer
Yup, good job. If you want to reduce the waviness of it, go ahead . Just make sure you don't 'destroy' it's good looks Oh ya, I also would like ground and rubble tiles done that match the walls. Might be a bit tricky...But something better than what RR comes with would be nice.
Amauros
Well the trick RR used was they made the very bottom of each wall tile have part of the floor tile match it, so I could do that with each wall type... just with a better floor texture. --- Also, in the picture you posted, it looks like the wall texture lost some of its quality. Could you try increasing the wall/tile size? The default is 40 (which may be 40x40 pixels). This will mean that each model will need to be increased in size to maintain the same scale, but it'll be worth it if it improves the image quality. This is found in each level definition in the cfg. BlockSize 40 Edit: Your walls also look really tall.... Edit2: Nvm, I think it's just the angle of the wall causes the image to stretch vertically

It lost a lot of quality when I converted it into an 8-bit bitmap. It actually looks higher quality in-game than when you look at the image itself. 3. As above, the image looks lower quality when it gets closer to full size. This is caused by the color loss that occurred when I converted it into an 8-bit bmp. I'll still give it a try, though. 4 & 5. hehe...
Addictgamer
Oh, can I have ice and lava versions of these? For ice, just throw snow/ice on it. For lava, just throw in the glowing lines and other similar stuff that exist in Vanilla RR's lava biome. Thanks in advance!
Addictgamer
Bump. If it's too much for you, whatever the reason be, please say. I'd like to know when the biome(s) will be done. Don't worry, no rush. It's just that I see no updates, and I'd like to know what's happening. Are you too busy? Does somebody else need to make/finish the biome(s)? Did you forget and you'll finish them asap? Etc.
Cirevam
Amauros is in his last two weeks of school and told me that he won't be able to get anything finished until he's done. Considering that I'm in my last three weeks of school, I completely understand.
Amauros
Well there's that... but I uninstalled paint.net 3.5.4 so I could install the new 3.5.6 and now I get a 1603 error when I try to install either version. So now I can't do any graphics modding until I can get paint.net reinstalled. -.-

Anyway, good luck fixing paint.net!

Yeah google says it has something to do with framework.net, I also went to Paint.net's forum and it's apparently a very common problem with a large variety of causes and solutions... and so far none of the solutions have worked for me. I think it's a problem with paint.net's installer/uninstaller because it's supposed to install framework.net prior to installing paint.net (because framework.net is required, duh). Anyways, I'm going to register at the forum soon and see if I can't find some better answers/help.
