Eagle98
Here in Hong Kong, the weather is extremely hot (kinda like Florida) in the Summer, and Alaska-like in the Winter. This year, the low temperature has dropped from 20oC to about 14oC in a couple of days. They say it's getting warmer this week, but I still see the same number of people wearing big, puffy coats. I look at the weather report, and China is as cold, if not colder, than Europe.

Sonic322
I live in MA, and if you know anything about New England is that it gets cold here in the winter
Retsnom Kcor
Same old boring here in New York. And I mean the actual state, not the city that can't live without us (no offence to anyone there, I just don't like New York City. Or how anything north of it is 'Upstate'.pfftt...). We just got first snowfall of the year today. I was covered in snow when I got on the bus this morning. So was the ground. It's all gone now though. Out of curiosity sonic, how much snow do you get in MA?
Sonic322
it depends, it can get in the teens or lower hear no snow yet but I just know I will have shovel snow this year, but I don't mind shoveling the snow, but my lava lamp light bulb burned out so I don't have a lava lamp to warm my hands on
Joe9412
@ epic yes, yes it can. it can get cold enough to hail here, but that about it and thats a rare occasion if that happens. @ sonic why dont you just go super speed and melt all the snow lol

TheEPICtrainrider
I live in New York state too, and the only reason I say that is because it's vague enough that stalkers won't find me... We don't get a lot of snow where I live, (@#$%ing global warming) And new york city would be dead without the rest of the state (no offense but you get your power, water, and recreation from the rest of us)
Acmex
Its snowing. In Houston. And will soon snow here. **&^ Global warming is a lie. Cows produce more methane & CO2 than cars do.
Cirevam
Global warming is a lie. If it's not a hard fact yet, then it's a working theory. All signs point to global warming, such as the average world temperature going up by a few degrees over the past... I want to say ~150 years, but the numbers are out there. There are also the obvious weak spots in the ozone layer, though one can argue that natural occurrences like volcanic eruptions can contribute to such damage. Cows produce more methane & CO2 than cars do. If global warming is a lie, why did you bring this up? By the way, there are about 5 million cows and bulls in the US, and there are 300 million humans in the same country. Both produce methane. That's 1 cow to every 60 people. Now, unless a single cow can produce 60 times more methane than a single human, I don't think cows are the problem. Also, some interesting articles on methane: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/home/opinion/edit-page/THELEADER-ARTICLE-CowsAre-Forever-Methane-Gas-the-Answer-to-Oil-Imports/articleshow/950402.cms http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1890646,00.html
Acmex
I'm not sure how I got methane in there.... Note I said Cars, not humans. Well, right now its nice here, albeit a bit cold by FL's standards, but sunny.
Cirevam
^ If there's a roadworthy car for every human in the US then you can take an average for that country. And humans are a much bigger factor than anything else. There's 6 BILLION of us and growing. Oh hey, I heard it was going to snow around my area on Monday. It was raining a bit this morning and it was getting close to freezing point, so I think the chances are good.
