Rainbowninja
Today I tried adding the -debug into the target of RR but the debug keys are still not working. Do i have to replace -best? Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Lair
The shortcut parameter doesn't work properly. You have to go to the cfg file (extract the WADs) and set AllowDebugKeys to TRUE.
karsten
Yeah, you have to activate the debug keys in the LEGO.CFG file in the WADS
Sonic322
Is there a way to fix that problem?
Cirevam
I can't remember if -debugcomplete did anything different, but we should confirm if it can enable the debug keys without editing the CFG.
Sonic322
How does the CFG work when it comes to the game parameters? Are there sections that have code for the parameters and the debug one just has a problem or are the parameters hardcoded?
Lair
They're hardcoded.
Sonic322
Is debug the only game parameter in the cfg? We could always ask karl about it.
McJobless
Is debug the only game parameter in the cfg? We could always ask karl about it. It's not even called a parameter in the .cfg...it's a variable which happens to have also been a parameter. Two seperate things. You won't find any other parameters there. Sonic322
We should ask Karl about it.
McJobless
We should ask Karl about it. 1) Stop asking and just do it. 2) He will say "no" because I can't find anything on my list of extracted variables/codes that suggests more parameter-cfg code. 3) Why don't you try and see if one exists? Rainbowninja
What do i open the extracted file with?
Cirevam
You can open the Lego.cfg file with Notepad. In fact, the developers sometimes used Notepad for some of their work.
Rainbowninja
how and what do i need to extract. I opened LegoRR1.wad in program files and that is it. But now when i try to run it it says that it has encountered a problem. Did i miss something?

Lair
Is debug the only game parameter in the cfg? We could always ask karl about it. We could always not bother poor Karl and figure it out. And you mean you didn't ever see the best and such on shortcuts or use testlevels? It's SHORTCUT parameters. Not CFG.
