ROUND 2: MILITARY This next round compares their military, all branches, Navy, Marines and Air Force. As far I'm concerned the UK has a special forces branch (SAS) while the USA doesn't Military branches USA: USMC, SEALS, SOG, US Army Rangers UK: British army, SAS, RAF, Royal Navy Who do you think wins here? Without doing any real study on this, I'm willing to say that the US has the upper-hand here. WAIT...USA has some of the worst tactical desicions I've ever seen...hmm... CRUCIAL DIFFERENCE: Any American soldier could hold his own in a tactical guerilla situation. We may not have a special forces, but we DO have soldiers that are trained high enough to the point where the extra special forces tag and equipment is unnecessary, because ordinary Marines could be summoned for a special operation. ALSO: Trying to prove your country is better has absolutely no effect on the type of person you are, your superiority, or *censored* size. And the technologies that back us of which are in special military bases like Area 51 are dominant over the U.K. Special Forces (spec ops, black ops, psych ops) are a huge role in the UK, but not enough to lead military dominance. But if we went to war with the UK, we would most likely lose. On-topic: It isn't really interesting to compare these two countries, mainly because of established territory, which means that the US surely has an advantage against any country that is relatively smaller. What's also is that the USA and the UK are allies. So I don't really see the point in discussing this until one of them turns commie or sumting Oh btw, my prediction is that may a full-scale war between major countries erupt, there will be a slow increase in the amount of nukes involved... Until they both nuke each other to barren wasteland. This can also lead to further discussion as the chance of a WW is very high as soon as two major countries get into war...
