TheJamsh
So, i downloaded d3drm.dll and tried to start the game. This time the error message dissappears, and i get into the Lego Media video. However, all i can hear is the video's sound, and my screen remains black. I get no further than this, once the sound is over it stays on a black screen and nothing more happens. How can I fix this? Im fairly computer savvy so spill away. Thanks in advance! - TJ

Lair
What OS are you using (Operating System like windows vista, 7, XP etc) Why don't you read the topic title? The screen going black is the fault of the videos having codecs Windows Vista/7, but it doesn't load at all? That's something new. After the intro video and everything you mean? Nice, epic fail LOL but i think it has to do something with the codecs maybe install K-Lite Codec Pack http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm
Lair
That's to help the AVI codec. He's saying his game won't load.
Cyrem
Perhaps try running it in windowed mode ( http://www.rockraidersunited.org/index.php?/topic/128-run-lego-rock-raiders-in-windowed-mode/ ). It might be fullscreen that's stuffing it up.
TheJamsh
Okay managed to get it working by scouting around, I never thought to consider colour depth. I downloaded the mega codec pack, installed that (that was effort...), then changed my colour depth to 16-bit. Loads without any issues now, Its a shame i have to go to the control panel everytime I want to play but hey... what you gunna do?
