If there is a vehicle that can be carried in the level, it will head towards the TT and be picked up. The default vehicles that can be loaded are the Small Transport Truck and the Small Digger. If neither exist, nothing happens. It also helps if the vehicle is close to the TT when you click the load command. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Amauros Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 Have you tried unloading a vehicle you think you've loaded? I recall there was a bug with the TT carry animation where vehicles that are loaded won't move with the TT... but when you unload the vehicle, it "teleports" from where it was loaded to where it was unloaded. Amauros Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 I saw... but the title asks why the TT won't pick vehicles up... implying he tried it and the TT visibly didn't pick it up... so he might have installed something incorrectly. I know that it will also sometimes, if you try to pick up a second vehicle with it, crash. Is there a null in the LWS that tells that the vehicle that it is carrying goes there? It doesn't have a carry_null in its Stand or Route animations, so it can't carry the vehicle properly. I didn't put carry_nulls into the "hit by monster" animations, which is why the vehicle will fall off if the TT is attacked, but I've never tried seeing what happens if you try to unload the vehicle at that time. Select the TT and click the Load Vehicle command (though it might just be "Load"). If there is a vehicle that can be carried in the level, it will head towards the TT and be picked up. The default vehicles that can be loaded are the Small Transport Truck and the Small Digger. If neither exist, nothing happens. It also helps if the vehicle is close to the TT when you click the load command. So you know, only the Small Transport Truck and Small Digger can be carried without modifying game files. If neither of them exist in the level, the TT won't pick up anything. If you want the TT to pick up other vehicles, add the line that Alexpanter posted to the relevant CFG entry.
