667788pop Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Well im trying to mod my game lego rock raiders at the moment but i downloaded a wad tool and whenever i try to open it i get this....(ive taken a screen shot of both messages and have put them in the current link) I would really appreciate if someone could give me a link to a proper running wad tool or just tell me how to fix the problem at hand thank you (problem photos) http://s1183.photobucket.com/albums/x467/youngsayon123/?action=view¤t=untitled.jpg Ok so i found out the reason to my current problem but now i got an even bigger one. when i use the was tool and i click the open legorr0.wad or something like that, it says that "this is not a valid wad file" CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME NOW!! im sure this is easier to fix? Cirevam Posted April 6, 2011 Share Posted April 6, 2011 I think some people have solved this problem by moving their WADs to the desktop and extracting them there. The problem with Vista and 7 is that User Account Control pervades most of the Program Files folders, so if you installed LRR there then it's hard to get around UAC without disabling it outright. 667788pop Posted April 6, 2011 Author Share Posted April 6, 2011 yaaa see my wad tool will only open on my computer which runs on windows 7. i cant even run the game on the computer that has windows 7. So, there are two things i can do. Find out why i cant run the game on my windows 7 computer and mod it there.
