Baz's Mod-Can't Access Levels

Hello everyone. I recently re-installed LRR and have once again discovered this phenomenal game. After some research and a successful installation of Baz's Mod, I cannot play any level. Whether it be the first level (newly Bonus) or one of the others (loaded through a previous Save Game), the game crashes after the loading bar fills for the level. This crash does not include an error message. I've tried re-installing both the mod and LRR yet have not found an answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

-Windows Vista

-I followed the instructions included in the Readme file of Baz's mod

-Running the game: RGB Emulation (microsoft Direct3D RGB Software Emulation)

Fullscreen 640x480 (16 Bit)

-I do have the d3drm.dll file

Baz's mod randomally works on some people's computers and doesn't on others.

Not much I can do to help...Does vanilla RR work properly?

Tahnks for the quick response. It does, except for the occasional 'LegoRR.icd' crash.

As I thought.

Any chance of installation fail even though you've reinstalled already?

It is possible, but the game does run fine on its own for the most part. After I move the original LegoRR0.Wad and LegoRR1.wad files out of the RR folder and install the mod, the crash occurs.

  • 4 months later...

Hey maybe your LRR game disc is corrupted?

Mmm... three month bump to say maybe his is corrupt? Not really cool.

If anything, he could give the newer version a go.
